Marty also will have K/n Air kits available, tinkless driveshafts, PCM Forless (Alvin) will be on hand, and a paintless dent removal guy will be on hand Saturday June 19th.
Here are some pictures of the OEM (Plastic) Radiator/Frame Support.
And Mike in Az STEEL Radiator/Frame Support, $178.00
This mounts ON the Front End Frame rails and under your radiator.
The light colored support is the OEM Plastic support.
Notice the Steel support is exact fit and is predrilled for air dam. Much stronger than the OEM. Takes the "shimmy" out your steering wheel.
Take the Specs. to your Alignment Shop. Specs are in Factory tollerance.
And you will save enough on tires to pay for the support.
Alignment Specs.
Caster 4.25 +/- 0.5 Set to max and equal both sides
Cross Caster 0.0 +/- 0.3
Camber -0.5 +/- 0.5
Toe +0.1 +/- 0.2
Change Camber to 0 and change Toe to 0 to eliminate inner scuffing
I believe all these figures are in Degrees not inches

NOTE: IF you have a "Chin Spolier", you have reinforced your OEM radiator support and replacing it is not recommended.
We need more members like you that are willing to step up and help out with Tech Sessions, not just in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona and this one.
Kudos buddy!

Thanks Doug, I learned a lot in Texas, from you, Mike, and so many others at the Texas Rally.
Everyone was apprecitive and it was nice to help other Fanatics.
I can't make Maggie Valley, but they usually have a Tech Day there.
I have one in New England.
I had planned a trip to New England, where most of my Family lives and I am going to stop in Charlotte,N.C. to visit my Grandson and 4 Great Grandchildren. (Have 12 Great Grandchildren, wonder what is causing that)
Marty, 2fastton, asked if I would help him with a Tech Day , why not, it will be fun.
I saw the 4th of July Parade in Pittsfeild, Mass and thought I would go there.
WildBillandRed contacted me about a Tech Day in Mass. Why not, it will be fun.
I really enjoy the Fanatics and I always learn something new.
Thank you for your help and effort for the SSR Fanatics.
Richard, I purchased the Soundproofing for the doors and the roof compartment from you in Maggie Valley. Thank you for helping me install it in the doors, it made a big improvement. Wish that I had the time to install the soundproofing in the roof compartment while in Maggie Valley. Maybe with your help I'll get it done at the Tech Day in Salisbury, NC? Thanks again for all the support you provide to the Fanatics.
I will be glad to help and show how to soundproof the roof compartment. It is really a good thing to do to cut down road noice.
Of course, the down side is "You will hear every word your wife says".

Lots of places to stay in the Salisbury Area. We have personally had very good luck with the Hampton Inns, owned by Hilton Properties.
Karen has blocked out rooms, the link is below.
For those of you that are wanting to do something with your R, please allow us time for parts to be ordered and arrive.
Please let us know whose attending so that we have a handle on how much food to have for the grill.
Looking forward to meeting more SSR owners and seeing the ones that we already know.

I will be there for tech day (live in Greensboro). Could not make Maggie this year. Please tell more about the Muth mirrors installation. Can this be done on tech day?
Thanks,

Dennie Eaves, IRB Dennie, Indian Rocks Beach, Fl, called me after he hit a Raccoon with his SSR. He was going to work the other morning when a Raccoon dashed out of the darkness into the path of his R. He said it was a small one.
I had one Mike in AZ STEEL Radiator Supports left from the supply that Mike lets me keep in Florida for the East Coast SSR’s.
If he had a chin spoiler or a steel support, he probably would not have had as much damage, if any.
Here are the pictures of what is left of his Plastic Radiator Support, plus the bent radiator cores. We straightened them as best we could and installed the NEW Steel Support.
If you still have a plastic radiator support, you may want to think about a change.

1. What was left of GM Plastic Radiator Support.
2. Damage to condenser and radiator
3. Repairing
4. Jacking NEW steel radiator support into place.
5. All repaired, no leaks, no runs, and surprisingly, no errors.
I got a call from Gerry Ulman in NC. He hit a Firestone Gater (Truck Tread) and took out his radiator support. He has some damage and is holding his radiator and condenser in with "LOTS" of tie wraps.
I am shipping him a FREE plastic one until Tech Day.

Hi Dick:
Unfortunately I must cancel my attendance to to Tech day in Carolina. I am a speaker and now have to be in Fl doing a program. I will try to catch up if you schedule another tech meet on your return trip from Mass.
So sorry, travel safe, have fun.
Richard
