I'm out here in New Orleans, I used to drive out to New Iberia to see family, it's a slight drive, but not too bad.

I live in Metairie, LA. I am currently working out of state but I will be home the month of July.

I am not that familiar with New Iberia but I know there are lots of things to do in Lafayette.

I'm here in Gretna which is just across the river from New Orleans.....Welcome to Louisiana!!!!! The food is the best!!!!! although the river is a bit high right now.....Stay dry and keep the top down and enjoy.......

You'll love the food. I gained 20 lbs when I worked there for 2 years after Katrina. Never lost the lbs or the love of the food. No better shrimp(s), than any other place on earth. Just remember, if there is more than 1 shrimp, then it's shrimps.
