11th Annual Pumpkin Run Car Show & Cruise Houghton Lake

September 19th 20th, & 21st 2008

Received information via of mail today.....there was some enthusiasm on returning to this event again this year

A few things have changed no Free T-Shirt will be available for early registration. However T-Shirts will be available at a fee of $10.00 each.
They will be having a cookout at the Chamber for the car participates that are registered instead of pizza & salad that they served last year. The poker run will take place again along with the "Cruise around the lake". There is No construction in the area this year!!!

The price for registration remains the same @ $15.00 before September 1st and $18.00 after Sept 1st.

I will contact the Chamber of Commerce to get the registration form in a pdf file if you did not get one and or are new to coming and need one.

We had a blast at this event last year....very relaxing!!!!

Hotel Reservations
Use SSR Club when making your reservations. (2) Queens for $89.99 + Tax Offering a continental breakfast, 24 hr pool. Grill out back for BBQ'ing if we would like. I have blocked out 10 rooms until Sept. 1st 2008 Please allow for a 24 hr notice should you need to cancel your reservations. The spa and sauna are not working this year.
The Firemans Memorial is the same weekend so the hotel is booked.....10 rooms are all that is available at this hotel 1 room is a smoking room. Please make your reservations soon we have #'s 55020-01 thur to 55020-08 on hold till Sept 1st 2008.

List is updated and I will go ahead and make the hotel reservation along with getting you the other information you will need. This is a week earlier then last year so fall colors will be scares. I really wish this took place in October If I can do it I'll plan a Fall Color run too

Just received a call from the head organizer of the Pumpkin Run.....he is thrilled to hear that we are coming back this year as we were the first organized club to attend last year. He also mentioned that they are planning a category for us this year Many changes have been made to improve this years run.....The BBQ and poker run will take place at the Chamber this year moving some of the activities to the other side of the town.
