2008 Gratiot Cruise Sunday August 3rd

Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise

Anyone cruising????

Hello Deb, yes we cruised the west side of Michigan today. JP (Wizard) put together a short notice SSR cruise that was a blast! We meet west of Kalamazoo and cruised over to the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. We had lunch in South Haven, did some sight seeing along the way. Then we cruised over to Allegan and had dinner at the Grill House. You should of seen the size of them steaks, ym-ym. Those in attendance were;
Wizard (JP and Michelle), Scott 0168 (Scott and Karen), Downshifter (Marv and Judy), OLDYELR (Jack and Judy).

I'm glad to hear you all had a great time!!!

I think runs like these are great considering we are all pretty far apart from each other

That's the way to keep this Michigan Club going

In the future I would recommend posting (under the Great Lakes Section) even if it's a little get together and a short notice.....you never know whom might show up

Sorry Dee, Wizard called us Thursday night and said I got an idea. It was short notice, but he pulled it off. This will be a good cruise for all of us next year for sure! Mark my word.

Sorry, guys, but this time I took no pictures. I know that's not exceptable, but it's the facts.

I know that others did take pics, but PLEASE don't post that picture of the desserts, it will make Marty very mad that he didn't come.

We ran into Jack & Judy in Flint today. Saw a yellow SSR driving down Linden Rd. We had to make a U-ee and try to catch them, which we did when Judy stopped at a garage sale. (Her favorite thing to do). Glad to hear you all had a really great time. Sorry we couldn't make it. Will try for the next cruise though. Family re-union had to be a priority.

I would love to see the pics....the kids honeymooned on that side for a couple of days and the scenery of the pics I saw from them were beautiful
