Blakes Apple Orchard & Cider Mill Run-October 2009

Hey Michigan I am planning on going to a few apple/cider mills this October on my side of town Looking to see if anyone is interested in doing a little fall color run mid/late October??? Come and join me to.............

Blakes Orchard and Cider Mill Armada Michigan (there are two locations....I like to go to both of them)

There is also another one called Coon Creek Cider Mill in Armada

I know Judy and Carl are planning a fall run so I will be sure these dates aren't the same This is my favorite time in Michigan and my favorite time to take the out just prior to storage....I'll pick a nice day so we can pick some apples

Nothing fancy...no plans....just pick a day and go

Let me know if you would like to come along????

Sunday Oct 25th
Meet time:
11:00 A.M
.
Blake's Big Apple Orchard
71485 North Avenue Armada, MI 48005
586-784-9710
Blakes Orchard and Cider Mill Armada Michigan | Hours

After this we will visit
Achatz Pies
75700 North Ave.
Armada MI 48005
(586) 784-4743
Achatz Handmade Pie Company - Locations

Then on to
Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill
586-784-5343
17985 Armada Center Road
Armada, MI 48005
Blake Farms | Directions | Cidermill

We can make a stop by my son's new home and chiefbobs from there along with an unplanned road trip to see the fall colors and stop at what ever we see along the way. Lunch will be at the Blakes on Armada Center Road (our third posted stop). The weather will be cool with highs of 50 so dress warm with gloves and winter coats as when I made a visit two weekends ago is was 10 degrees colder out that way.

See ya all soon!!

BTW, Franklin Cider Mill (in Franklin, MI) is REALLY cool because you get to watch them make the cider on machinery that is over 150 years old. However, parking is horrible!

Great!

We would love to attend, but we are locked into the Chocolate/Covered Bridge Run dates.

Cider Run

Deb,

Missed seeing evryone this summer. Judy & I have a commitment the same weekend Ralph & Ruth (Quest) are going on the Chocolate Tour, but looks like we could probably make any of the last three weekends in Oct or possibly early Nov. A Saturday would be best for us.

I’m on antibiotics for the past week and this cold is not going away. The doctor has given me a shot for Pneumonia also. I’m missing work and coughing my head into exploding. The good thing, I lost 12lb's last week

I missed the color run; I hope to be well for this little trip.

Hi Deb,
you can put Marv and I down as hopeful. That way we can get in just one more before the snow drives us out of Michigan.

Maybe we could make it an HHR run if the weather is bad. I can haul one in mine, Pat can haul three more in hers, and you could carry two more in yours. Our colors even match!
