Car Show Aug 4 2006

On Friday August 4 there will be a car show in Monmouth, Il. The show is from "6PM to 10PM" but trust me the show starts earler in the day. Some people got there as early as 8AM to get a spot. Last year they said they had over a 1000 cars for the one night event and 25,000 people showed up.
Any SS/R's that may want to attend, let me know and we can see about getting a reserved spot to park the SS/R. Last year there where about 4 SS/R's that showed up.

I did the show in Monmouth last night. Early numbers by the event people are sure that they had over 2000 cars there last night. People started showing up at 6AM for parking spots.
Noted 4 SS/R plus myself there. Left Fanatic notes in all but one. I followed him into town, but we where delayed at the gate as he drove off and I was not able to find him after that.
As always, the SS/R had many questions, and the one asked most, "Where did you get the kit from?"
A lot of neat cars and talented creations.
