Car show in Evansville? Need some information.

Hi,

My daughter lives in Evansville and says they have a huge car show in August. Anyone know something about it? Do a lot of SSR's show up?

Might be worth a drive down if there will be some fellow SSR owners there.

regards,
FloRidah

Most likely the Frog Follies, looks like 3 days of fun in the sun!! Sadly it looks like a rod show only, nothing allowed prior to 1949 is allowed according to the FAQ. Looks like a good event to check out though.

Thumbs up

There's the big Annual Fred Gibb Memorial Car Show in LeHarp, IL on August 6th. Royalshowing (Phil) and I were there last year with our SSRs. There were hundreds of vehicles of all kinds and it was a blast!

Hi,

That is the event, I could not think of the name of it. Looks like you are spot on, we will skip it.

Thanks,
FloRidah

Hi,

That looks like fun. Bet you did not know there are something like 5 SSR's in the little town of Booneville, IN. If we could get those guys to go and maybe Tony to come over from Peoria, and some of the Michingan crew to come over we could have a real herd.

We will have to look into this one further.

I screwed up, thought it was IN, will have to see how far we are from LeHarp, IL.

thanks,
FloRidah

Hi,

Well now I am on the right page, it is about four hours from where we are in Illinois.

Did you enter your SSR's in the show? They have lots of categories and I am trying to figure out just where they would fit.

thanks,
FloRidah
