Caravan- Detroit to Maggie Valley 2007
I have been in contact with a few Michigan members that are planning on attending Maggie Valley this May.
Would like to set up a caravan heading out........
I am not retired so I have to work on Thursday. Steve and I will be leaving right after work on Thursday more then likely driving straight thur. It is a 10 hr drive from Detroit.
For those of you who can leave earlier and would like to set up a meet time to caravan together......please feel free to do so. Or if you would like to leave when we are that's fine also!

The weather is gong to be just perfect here for the weekend so I won't detail her out till closer to the leave date.
Is anyone going to try to hook up at some point? Looks like we have 3 leaving Thursday morning.

We got home last night and are still getting use to this cooler weather!! Right now it looks like we are leaving the 3rd (Thursday) early in the morning the way it looks now,Deb. If that changes we will let you know. It's so good to be back and to see the SSR in the garage!!
Be good to see you soon!
Judy-
We think Lima, OH on 75 would be a good meeting spot about 9:00 AM that Thursday morning. If anyone is interested in joining up with us, PM us with your phone # and we will call you and make a more definite plan.

Sounds good to us!
Marty, looks like a good place to meet for most of us from Michigan. According to MapQuest about a 3 hour drive from lower Michigan. PS, be careful, there are 2 different Lima,Ohio's!

We are leaving Thursday morning, too. We will be heading down I-77 through West Virginia. James Dean and his wife Misstadoo are staying overnight with us on Wednesday and we are caravanning down. Not sure of the exact route yet as we were talking of maybe finding some side roads and scenic drives instead of the entire trip on the big concrete ribbons (boring..... ) Still have to map it out.
