A Big Southern California Welcome, also from the ocean side of the mountains. I grew up in Iowa (way up in the Northeast corner, Monona) so maybe that qualifies me to chime in.

Have lived in Cedar Rapids also. Worked at the Wilson Packing plant there.
Have been in So Cal since 1964, however.

You'll really enjoy this forum, I'm sure.

Welcome from North Dakota!

I used to live in Davenport, IA when I went to college. Cedar Rapids is close to a couple of my favorite places to visit. The Amana Colonies and the Amish village of Kalona. I could go for some of those fresh cheese curds just thinking of it.

Fazzer, I live in Monticello about 30 min away. We have an Ultra Violet 04.

Last time i checked we were the only UV registered in Iowa. A UV shows up in Cedar Rapids that is from Missouri.
