Cruise Down Memory Lane
Taking the out for a cruise tomorrow on Woodward to check out some of the classic cars and head towards Pontiac which is the end of the 16 mile strip. I'm planning on cruising all the way into Pontiac this year with the members so I want to get and idea of what's up that way.
I'll post a time tomorrow when we are heading out there...anyone in the area and wants to cruise for a little while give a shout
The classic cars have been cruising for a while so it will be nice to get a few photo's early

Wish you were too
Finishing up waxing the tailgates all that's left then a quick detail of the inside and the is done. She got the full treatment....clayed bared and waxed and detailed inside and out. After this she gets packed up and covered till Thursday
Weather is chilly, cloudy with sprinkles today.....but that's not gonna stop me I'll just detail it again after I get home
Hotrodgirl ... Up in Pontiac spectators put water on the road at the stop lights. wonder why
You will see and smell B-B-Q up there on cruise day also.
It's a good stretch up to Pontiac to cool down, after a snail crawl.

The weekend before the Offical WDC
There out there cruisin......the sounds oh so sweet the classic impeccable and I was there to enjoy it
Parked at the famous 13 mile & Woodward Lot where the cruisers gather on any given night to capture on camera some of the finest cruisers go by
Saturday's are always better cruising days on Woodward but I was still surprised at how many where out today.......the rain didn't end here until 4:30 P.M. and like me whom worked all weekend to get my baby looking good I'm sure many waited to come out too.... or some are savoring the hard work till next weekend
Classics were coming in and off of Woodward in the 2 hrs we were there.
Steve and I made a trip to White Castles for a late lunch and a tradition for him and I when heading towards Woodward to cruise.
Here are some photo's......the speed of the cars today was 50 mph unlike next week where it will be 10mph It was a little harder to caputer some of the moving babies as some were revin them up and flying by

Saw several campers already set up and one with two people cooking dinner at the 13 Mile Parking lot Folks had their classics in designated parking spots with their comfy chair in front of them.....doing what we did....head turns left & right trying to keep up with the north and south bound cruisers... my neck is sore
Look in the camper window......the guy was looking out when I snapped this pic....I think he had clothes on He must have thought I was nuts
Pic 3 a 1967 camaro being towed.....you see that a lot on Woodward.

The famous Duggans Bar & Grill on Woodward was packed tonight (both levels) as the folks inside waived as we went by
Did not see a one SSR tonight But I know next week I'll see 25-28 of them
One thing that did happen though....I was driving.....hubby was shot gun as we passed a couple walking down 13 Mile Rd the female shouting and pointing at the just about ran into a light pole looking at the as we drove by.
Hubby said after......"Does that happen a lot"? I said "Duh"
The 's covered now and packed up with the items I need for this Thursday......anxiously awaiting to come out and play

Almost forgot to mention the purpose of this trip was to make the 16 mile end loop around Pontiac......yep nothing was going on in that area today
The cruisers were hanging around the 15-12 mile areas today.
Anyway...........we will be making the full trip this year on Friday then shortening the trip around as the day goes on.
