For anyone heading south this winter, I just want to mention again the KOA park in St. Pete Beach Florida just in case you missed the post on the Florida thread.
The KOA manager Damon (CatsEye99) who happen's to be a SSR Fanatic too, has offered any Fanatic interested special discounted rates!

I have tried to contact whoever runs the fanatics board for information about the prospect of setting up the St. Petersburg KOA as a Supporting Sponsor but haven't had a response in over 3 weeks

Guess I will have to try again, maybe the holidays slowed things down

Anyway, see you soon and any other SSR owners are welcome to drop by to say hello or stay for a while

5 more days and we will be out of Michigan. (yea). Starting to see how much we can fit in our R. Will be leaving Tues morning. If anybody notices us traveling down I-75, honk your horn. Getting excited to be next weekend in Ft.Lauderdale at the Bass Pro Shop and meet more friends.

Looks like its back to nomal temp's in Florida this week! Hope to bring the RV home this week and start packing it up. We are taking our bikes this year.

Scott on the 7 of feb I want to go over to see the space shuttle if it goes up on that day.then might cruise down to Bradenton for a few days, to see David s mother.,might stop by and see you guys then. but who's knows, we are not on NO time schedule..this year and that will be so nice.what day are you leaving. Got in Stuart Fla. Wed evening. Very happy with the place we are renting. Weather was perfect on the way down. Two day trip, 11 hrs each day. Got the R washed and it rained. Now to Ft. Lauderdale on Sat with our fanatic friends.

Don't bring any frickin cold weather with you!

I had to go poke a rotted fish that was stuck in the outdrive on my boat today killed by cold weather.

Just kidding....come on down!!!!!

Not about the fish .....they are all frozen in Florida down to the everglades!

The above is true but the Manatee population has increased to the highest level in many, many years. Over 5000.
