just wondering how and if i should become a supporting member , we have a custom shop here in detroit , mi . we are making a few components for the SSRs , such as bowtie less front grille spear , and chin spoiler. we are working on 2 ssr currently full custom show trucks , ill keep yall up to date with pics.
Is the forcast still for just "flurries"? I ask because my SSR has never seen salt & if it looks like there will be more than flurries I may have to shame the group by coming in our PT Cruiser.

Weather was sunnnnnnn shinin both days
PHOTO'S ARE INCREDIABLE WITH THE GREAT LAKES FALL COLORS
Pat & I got back a short while ago & just got the SSR unpacked.
WHAT A GREAT TIME WE HAD!
Thank you ALL for making this a special weekend, but ESPECIALLY thanx to Carl & Judy Cook for hosting us at their friend Jim's place today. We had a GREAT time & can't wait for our next chance to go on another outing!
OF COURSE we ALL need to thank Deb & Steve for hosting and setting this up!
We got to make SEVERAL new friends in Jack & Judy, Carl & Judy, Marv & Judy (who I had met at the WWDC, but didn't get to spend much time with) as well as getting to meet briefly with the two new members (Ron & Keith)
met some wonderful people on saturday morning, I enjoyed having coffee that morning and learning about everyone in the Mich club. But somehow i missed the group on Sunday morning at the Plaza Hotel, I arrived about 11:50 and everyone had already left the the color run, "nuts wanted to play follow the leader too." looking forward to the next group outting. Deb, I put the window decal on my rear window but I can't see it because my glass is tinted to dark. I will have to take it off but will ruin it , hoping you can mail me a few more so I can try a new spot on the door windows. " keep em' runnin on the top side!"

MI Club Members
Two more Michigan Members that joined us for Saturday. I knew Ron was showing up but the surprise was when Keith showed up. Keith did't have his SSR with him....but it sure was nice to see both of them.
I'm not used to seeing to many people sitting in the dirvers seat of my SSR.....so when I spotted Keith I was honored and had to make the moment count...so I captured him with the digital
We spent several hours in the parking lot at Zhenders....cold......but just couldn't stop talking about each others SSR's and the items we have done to personalize them. No stress for the day.....if we couldn't make it to a destination it was just eliminated as spending time together talking was sooooo worth it We laughed and joked most of the day..... up next Frankenmuth

Not Seen Everyday
Things you just don't see everyday while crossing an intersection
These two photo's seemed perfect for this ......how many times have you seen a giraffe at an intersection?.....then again how many times have you seen a group of SSR's at one
The giraffe seems to show up a little later that day to

Farnkenmuth
Frankenmuth is a beautiful German Village filled with the hustle and bustle of Christmas at this time of the year. It was breath taking to see all of the autumn decorations and the changing Michigan scenery.
We enjoyed a warm cup of coffee inside Zhenders Bakery after standing in the parking lot freezing our butts off for two hours Ahhhh the aroma of freshly baked goods......just had to have one of those you know non-fattening donuts
We strolled the streets of Frankenmuth taking in the fresh crisp fall air and the wonderful gift shops along the way. Meeting back at a later time to share what we had purchased
Horse drawn carragies where all along the cobble stoned side walks and views of a time in history that gave you a very romantic, soft easy going feeling!

Bavarian Belle Riverboat
Bavarian Belle Riverboat
Before we headed for a sit down "Family Style" All you could eat chicken dinner.....we met at the Bavarian Riverboat to enjoy an afternoon tour along the Cass River and soak up the fall colors. We enjoyed listening to our tour guide about historical Frankenmuth. The sun was shining and was a great way to wind down after walking the streets of Frankenmuth.
Yet again we grabbed a hot coffee or hot chocolate to warm up.......next Fall run I'm bringing winter gloves
