Zehnder's World Famous Chicken Dinner
Zehnder's of Frankenmuth is the heart of Midwestern hospitality. In its ten dining rooms, which can seat more than 1,500 guests, Zehnder's offers a full-service menu that features all-you-can-eat family-style chicken dinners, seafood, steaks, fresh baked goods and European desserts.
Each year, Zehnder's serves nearly a million guests with the superb hospitality that has made it a world-wide attraction.
It is also a prime location for group functions and gatherings of up to 350 people.
Sitting down to a "Family Style" dinner gave us more time to get to know each other. Marv insisted that we clean our plates, as those were the words of his mother and most mothers when we were growing up.. Keep in mind this is "All you can eat"...........boy did we!!! When we couldn't finish something Marv was right there to give us a helping hand Pat (Charlie®’s wife) is a vegetarian.....we all marveled at here beautiful fruit dish that she couldn’t even finish. At the end of the meal we were served ice cream....on top were these plastic shaped animals and mermaids. Half way thru eating mine I noticed that my mermaid was missing an arm I then turned to Marv and asked if he would like to finish my ice cream....you know the clean your plate man
Well needless to say around this time we were all getting a little loose and began thinking of exotic things to do to these plastic shaped pieces that had accompanied our ice cream……and so the giraffe comes into play again
There wasn’t a place we didn’t enter where we had other folks joining in on our conversation…..everyone could tell we were a great group to be with.

Valley Plaza Resort/Midland
Arrived at the Valle Plaza Resort around 8:30 P.m.
Ray you were right this hotel had everything you needed
Bowling Alley
Movie Theater
Putt Putt
3 Pools
3 HotTubs
Charlie and Pat were going to go bowling with Steve and I..... however the opted for the HotTub instead. So I snuck down to catch them relaxing.
Steve and I headed off to the bowling alley....I needed practice as I had just purchased a new bowling ball and went from conventional to finger tip. Jack and Judy (springj) met up with us there. Judy bowled a few games with me while Jack and Steve conversed. Steve was taking pictures while we bowled and so.......not many came out Judy was a great sport as she hadn't bowled in a very long time. I taught her the High Five in bowling......she did great!!!!
After bowling Steve headed to the HotTub with HotRodGirl Nice way to relax after bowling three games

Leaving the Valley Plaza Resort we headed to Big Boys for a great breakfast together. Carl & Judy from Bay City MI had arraigned for us to tour a very close friends 200 acre parcel complete with ponds, nostalgic buildings and so forth. Just perfect for this Fall colors run. Before heading there we made a stop at the Tri-Ridge that Ray (rhobbel) recommended.

Tri-Ridge Midland Michigan
This was spectacular!!! This was a bridge.....Tri...(three) in the middle of downtown Midland. People were fishing on it and catching them too! The area around the Tri-Ridge was beautifully landscaped and the fall background gave it that extra punch! This is one of those things I didn't know existed here in MI. Thanks Ray for the heads-up.......worth seeing again

Jims Parcel Continued
The taller of the buildings was the pool hall game room.....every building has been used by friends at one time or another. Jim hunts off of the back porch of the pool hall. Jim gave us a musical show at the pool hall with the funky looking guy outside singing and dancing for us....... with a special reminder haning on the wall of the pool house!
