Gyrmme's SSR Items/Accessories Private Estate Sale Saturday. Nov. 14th 2009

As many of you know Grymme (Greg) our lost SSR Slingshot member passed away this year, shortly after his lovely wife Rita joined him


I have been working with Matthew (son), Michele and Paul (the executor of the estate)....in regards to what will happen with the SSR items Greg had accumulated over the years. Many of the grandkids have already taken what they wanted and the collection is still quite large.

Speaking with Paul today he wants to do a First Right of Refusal -Private Sale at the home of Greg (Grymme's) on Saturday November 14th from 10:00 A.M to 4:00 PM for the SSR Members. I have been to the home and have viewed the collection. I have taken pictures of the items I saw there that day and can post when I have more details of the final set-up. I will be meeting with Paul on Friday Oct 30th to discuss the details and take more pictures.There are a few SSR accessories and many SSR models/toys.

I am following what ever Paul feels is right as to best liquidate these items, I did express that it would be nice to have some of these items go through the SSR Fanatic website for sale as Greg (Grymme) conversed with many members across this wonderful site.


We Paul and I would like to get this out to all of you so you can plan accordingly to attend should you want to............

MI fanatics and surrounding fanatics would you be willing to come to the Private SSR Estate Sale on Saturday November 14th between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM in Warren MI......please let me know?

I have just returned from a meeting with Paul (Executor of the Estate).....

Paul has organized all of the basement so it was very easy to see the SSR collection Grymme has. I have taken photo's and will post shortly.......Paul is willing to sell over the net with you paying shipping should you see something you would like. I have his telephone number and will post that also.

He is going with the Private Sale for the SSR members on Nov. 14th as stated in post#1. Feel free to come and see this collection for yourself.

I have contacted the help of wildcat66 for some of the rare SSR models to get a high and low value and will be giving this info to Paul. Some items we have I have not been able to get a high or low value and some SSR Accessories I am not sure where they came from.....I will be posting pics of these to get help from any member that recognizes them.

The collections is nicely displayed so I have taken pictures in sections.....I also have some close ups if some one needs them.

Speaking with Paul today I am to understand that many have called about the items you've seen here I am happy to hear of that and I'm sure Greg will be happy to know many of these items will be going to good homes s

Paul did want me to let you all know that shipping will only be done by US Priority Mail for the smaller items and UPS for the larger items.

Please don't forget that you can view many of these items up close at the private sale on Saturday Nov. 14th from 10:00 to 4:00 PM.....I will be dropping in to see how progress is going. If you need the address .....please PM me for it or contact Paul.
