HRG,
If you are into canoeing, have you ever tried gunnel bobbing? I had to shoew the guys in Fairfield Harbor, NC when I was there a few (many) years ago. They rent canoes but had never seen anyone make one go by standing on the gunnels and bouncing it up and down. It is nice to know if you lose your paddle. you do tend to get wet while learning.

Have a good and safe trip.

Deb,

Hope you had a GREAT time!

BTW, you ain't "up north" till you cross the bridge (Macinaw to you non-Michiganders). LOL

BTW, saw a coming onto the expressway @ Belleville as I was coming off yesterday. We had gone to Toledo with three of the graddaughters to go to the Zoo and COSI (hands-on science museum). We had a GREAT time too, except they didn't like being shut up in the bed of the SSR. Just kidding, we took pat's daughter's (formerly our) Montana.

Pulled in late last night

The now has 18,010 miles on her. Did not see a one SSR' all weekend
Great car show in Houghton Lake on Saturday

Weather just................beautiful!!!! And I even managed to strike up a business opportunity. Many of you know about the Michigan garden stones I do. The store in Houghton Lake that I purchase them from asked me what I'm doing with them. When they found out that I personalize them.....we began to talk business. They are swamped with folks who would like them personalized and they do not know where to send them to. I am taking a personalized one up there in a few weeks to show them and to leave on display Have to think this thur as I will be making frequent trips back and forth if I decide to run with it

Have some reading and posting to get caught up with..................

I was surrounded by beautiful lakes all weekend with the top down
