The wife and I have been lurking and trying to decide if we should buy an SSR.
We'd would like to meet someone in the Twin Cities area to discuss the SSR and actually see one. We don't have one, but are very interested in purchasing.
I did see one at its debut at the Chicago Car Show back in the day. Unfortunately, the line was sooooo long I didn't get to sit in one so we've been forced to enjoy the SSR in photos and occasionly seeing one going down the highway with grins on the occupants.
So, if you'd be willing to meet up and discuss your SSR with us we'd be very appreciative.
:00000732: Come to the Woodward Dream Cruise next month and you can sit in as many SSR's as you want! You might even meet some engineers that helped develope the SSR!
I know there are a few in the Stillwater area that occassionally make it to the Wednesday evening cruise by the St. Croix bridge. They are nice people, as are most SSR owners, but most have not seen the light and joined us here. I have not met others for the area that I know of. Wish I could be more help but this is not my year for MN. My travels this year have me in ME and Canada for the most part. Oh yeh, I also have plans for NM and of course CA. Good luck and If you see one just ask. The worst that can happen is they say no. Keep in touch and let us know how things are going. If you are traveling maybe you can get to one of us.
Not in your area or even close, but we have had our 05 Redline Red 5 years and absolutely love it. Sold two 55 Chevys to buy it. I wanted a yellow one, 1st wife wanted a red one, you guessed it we have a RED one. I was leaning toward an 04 'cause they burn Regular gas, she wanted one with Corvette LS2 motor, you don't have to guess this time, we got an 05. "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world" Truthfully I love all the colors, their like a Harley Davidson "never saw an ugly one" their all pretty especially when you see several altogether lined up side by side.Good luck in your search for a really fun toy. Let all of us know when you get one! tennesseecozydog. :ssr
Greyhounds are all different personalities but most are good with other dogs of all sizes and they test them for cats. I had one that was terrified of my nephews aggresive pug and another that would let my cockatiel ride on his back.
What part of Minnesota are you from? I am in the SE part about 30 miles north of Rochester. I'm sure we could help each other out. Send me a PM if nothing else. kram6
Bought our 05-6speed July of 05...have not looked back. Sold the Vette and wife and I are both pleased with the vehicle...now 94K+ miles. Did a 4.56 gear and tune and it is everything PLUS better than the 79 Vette with a built motor...and we can see over the guard rails in the NC mountains.
Spent 50 years in MN and ain't moving back North !
