I'm glad you two chickies made it home safe!! I'm sorry to hear about your gettin damaged...we almost got creamed TWICE when we were in Lubbock seeing my mom. Some poeple need to pull their heads out of their rears BEFORE getting behind the wheel!! Anywho...I wish you luck on the tire hunt! It took me a long time before I found the right ones for my . Or maybe I'm just that slow!
It was a pleasure to finally meet you HRG!! I'm gonna try my hardest to make the WDC this year. If not, we'll be there next year for sure!

Glad you two made it back safe! I wish it was without incident...I guess we shouldn't have had that conversation about chin spoilers and air dams falling off.
Anyway...Nancy and I had a blast! Too bad we couldn't keep you all (I mean, "y'all") to ourselves longer. Sharing sucks!

JEEZ... I am glad you two are ok!
I watched the road all the way to Texas and back, for just this reason. With Grandma, and Mace and I Cruzin together, we all seemed to keep a good distance between us for this reason. Learned this fron riding my Harley. Gotta stager or you you can get killed REAL fast!
Remember Mike in AZ has the core support replacement, but he is waiting for more from his supplier.
But also, this stuff is all Insurance claim stuff, if you choose to do so (given rates and deductables)
So file the claim, take the cash, then have your friends here help you pocket the deductable, get it fixed, and cover gas to the Keys!
HELL of a plan!
How can I help?

Pit Stops
Jessie had never had lunch at Sonic or Jack In the Box....so of course Mom can't let her miss out as a young adult When Steve and I were dating our weekend dates were to Jack In The Box (cheap dates) ......
Jess and I do not care for Sonics and most likely will never eat there again....slow service and the food is awful (but we don't mind their ice creams and floats)
We both loved Jack (and no not Waldrop)
Inside Jack we chit chatted with the manager....he loved my Betty Boop Cowgirl hat and ......somehow we managed to get five Jack In the Box antenna heads and two XXXL Shirts that say Jack In the Box on them (washing them as I type)......They will make great night shirts for Jess and I Although hubby say's he has dibs on one of them.
I love the photo of me in front of Jacks....my favorite place to eat. We hit it several times while traveling as we don't have them here anymore in Michigan

Following Steve to Kerrville...for yet another 5hr trip Texas is BIG
On the way this truck was in front of Steve and the words on the truck were just perfect....captured the moment for sure

Yeah...but I was getting great gas mileage! Actually, it looks like we were in some traffic. And just for the record, I don't remember being in any traffic either. I guess I was having too much fun.

FYI, the latest figures are out for the best place to sweat it out, and surprise - surprise... Texas was not in the number 1 spot. Phoenix has actually kept that spot for 5 consecutive years.

On Wednesday of the Texas Rally.....we spent the day with Blueroadster06 (Carl). He had planned to take us bowling and to dinner. Carl and I + Jess love to bowl and we talked frequently about it. Blues game is way different then what Jess and I are used to. His lanes only have 4 where ours have 35 we have automatic pin setters he has one cute little cowboy named Cameron that sets the pins up his pin count is different as well.....if you leave the read pin standing it counts as 12 ....knocking down the white pins you get 9 more. They keep score......ours does it automatically
Almost like being in the twighlight zone but way fun!!!
We had a great opportunity to meet some of Blues family as they also bowled with us Thanks Carl for your Texas hospitality!!!
sorry the pics came out a little chitty due to the lighting in the building
