I have noticed a few MI fellows are Retiring. I have hosted many an Event with other car Clubs. Like you said your season for fun in the sun is short. so if some of the fellas and gals just look at what LT posted its easy and it's fun. Big events take more time to set up. But when they are done, the reward for the work you put in to it is overwhelming. The social aspects are rewarding too, you get to see your friends more often. Someone take the chance HRG is making a Life Change, She and her family have had some difficult times this past year. Help her and her Family. They need the time to focus on new endeavors.
Thanks:

Debbie, Debbie, Debbie ! ! . . . I'm shocked ! . . . I'm disheartened ! ! . . . but so appreciative of your past dedication to our organization. The WDC a couple years ago, was one of the best times I've ever had in a rented car.

I'm sure hoping someone will step up and carry on your work with a similar dedication.

Wish you the best of luck in your new direction. You're a "doer" and capable of accompolishing anything. You'll do well, I'm sure.

Hope to see you completing the Terribly Terrific Trio at the Texas International next year.

It's a tough decision for me to make but one that I need to do right now. I will finish off this year but starting January 1st I will no longer be planning SSR Runs nor running the 2009 WDC.

I hope someone will come forward.....we need some fresh meat here

My is still very important to me and so are all of you.....but this time I need to put myself first.

Please consider this position and speak up in this post if you are interested. I would like to have a replacement by Jan 1st of 2009.

Sincerely,

Debbie
Hello Deb

None of us REALLY know how much of your time you have shared with us on the Forum Activities and the Michigian Club, but we all appreciate it so much.

I and the other members all wish you and Steve the best on your new paths.

If you are ever coming through Kentucky, my door is always open to a fellow Betty Booper !

Arrow Announcement

Ok I can't get anyone that's crazier then me to take this MI SSR Club Hosting job

So here is what's going to happen

MI SSR CLUB
I will keep the MI SSR Club site up and running for new members to contact us.

I am going to take a leave of absence from planning runs for a year or so but I may plan an occasional day run if my schedule allows it.

There are many SSR Runs across this great Nation so you can join in on some of those for a while

Feel free to plan a Michigan Run........I'll help all of you in getting the information out to our members. But you must do the leg work.

National Woodward Dream Cruise

I will be forming a committee soon to prepare for next years WDC and future ones. I have to many contacts and I am able to get our SSR Fanatics and members the best of the best......So I will continue to head up the WDC's
Watch for a thread coming soon
