Not that I am aware of I'm sure there is a low fat recipe somewhere via of the net.

Not to kill anyone's appetite for these delicious pastry treats, but did you know that a standard Paczki weighs five ounces, but packs over 420 calories and 25 grams of fat. In comparison, a McDonald Big Mac weighs 7.8 ounces and has 600 calories and 7.8 grams of fat.

Having one I can't eat for the rest of the day now

Just Yankin' Your Chain this morning, HRG!

This comment in the article says it all . . .

Eh Hotrodgirl …. I thought true “P. People” only eat prune punchkeys.

I was lucky this year, our resitent P person always brings some to work, but she was on the other shift this year.

This is true but I can't eat prunes anymore as a child growing up my mother made us eat them for every Christmas Eve dinner....we weren't allowed to leave the table until we did

Was never one of my favorites and still isn't today Polish heritage or not ya can't make me adhere to that one

HRG,

Happy Paczki Day to you, too.

I still can't get over the difference in how it's spelled and how it's pronounced.
Lent is here and now we have to be good (is everyone listening ??).
Looking forward to the good old Polish traditions at Eastertime.

Jim
