At this point, I'm just asking how many of y'all might be interested in taking an extended (7 to 10 day) tour around Lake Superior, possibly starting on (Friday) September 26th and running through October 5th (Sunday) if necessary.
In October, 2010, we did a UP (MI) tour and we "lucked out" with the weather, even though we didn't have our tops down (that I can remember), so we should expect cool temps and some rain, but we can also hope for some sunny skies.
Keep in mind that each individual would need a Passport, AND would not have a reason that would prevent them from entering Canada.
If you do not currently have Passport you would need to apply for one very soon.
With enough lead time, we can start our Lake Superior Tour in Paradise, MI, and travel west across the UP, with our last stop in the U.S., being Duluth, Minnesota.
BTW, Duluth would be a very good location for a rendezvous with our members who live across Lake Michigan and would prefer to travel the Canadian route around Lake Superior with us, then returning home via the MI UP.
If this trip interests y'all, post here and going on response we will either continue or abort the planning.....no harm, no foul.:leaving
