May 10, 2008 - HP Performance Open House and Car Show - Mundelein, IL

Sorry, but unless you are a Supporting Vendor, you cannot display websites, e-mails or phone numbers. You CAN, however, conduct business via Private Messages (PM's)- The Moderator

Hello everyone - A few members asked me to post this here, so thus I did. We have been running these types of events for over two years now and hope that we can get some SSR's involved. I posted what I sent to the distribution list below. The first event is in Mundelein, IL at HP Performance. I think it would be cool to add the SSR's into the events and thus, hope that many of you in IL and WI can attend.

Should you have any questions, please email me at (Edited by moderator). Also, if you would like to participate, please email me with your name, email address and year of SSR. I will keep updating this thread as we move closer to each date.

Hope that a lot of you decide to participate.

Hello everyone -

The first event is one month away. May 10, 2008 at HP Performance Open House and Car Show. Currently, we have 50 people that I am aware (meaning I have emails for) that will be joining (Listed at the bottom of this email). Please mark your calendars and let me know if you are going to attend by replying to this email (if you have not done so already) . Please invite others from your respective forums as well.

I will be sending out more logistics in a subsequent email. Again, the meeting spot will be at the College Avenue Park & Ride Lot (Southwest Lot). I also have provided the address for HP Performance below. Each person will be responsible for their own directions from the Park and Ride lot to HP Performance Corvettes.

Obviously, I will be monitoring the weather the week of May 10, 2008 to ensure that the weather is going to be nice. More to come.

Now see I see this as Spam, because he is trying to advertise the selling of vehicle's, but he is also telling us of a vehicle rally. So you will have to make up your own minds.

Hi guys -

All I did was copy directly out of my email directly to the thread. As my distribution list has over 1,000 people on it, people put things for sale, group purchases for the group, etc. People benefit from it, not me as all this is done for free. I will just delete those from the next update I post. Far from any spam, please. In fact, if you would like, I can post pictures to the events we had last year to give you a taste of what the events look like. They are totally free for anyone to attend. I just thought that SSR owners may want to join in.

So, sorry for not deleting that in the first post. I will do so in the following update posts.

Best Regards,

JG853

Oh and BTW - I am not an SSR owner but my friend's wife has one and she asked me to post her (My friend owns a Heritage edition Ford GT).

I own Corvettes but also like the SSR as well. Just can not afford to have eveything

Thus, would like to have more SSR members attend if there is interest. We shall see.

These people need to chill out. What's with the moderator police on someone who has put together some really good events?

Joel, my question for you is why would you even invite these stupid PT Cruiser looking cars to your events filled with Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, etc. They don't fit in.
