Waiting
OK everyone from the feedback on your e-mails. We will wait to see what the forecast has to offer on Friday. I have sent you all my cell# and home# in case you need it and or miss seeing the posts.
Everyone keep your fingers crossed and hope that Saturday turns out to be a great day.
We have a few traveling in from pretty far away. So I think it would be fair to make the call as early as possible on Friday.
I am so looking forward to this. So lets hope the weather co-operates!!!

Hey Deb-
A 30% chance of rain is everyday here in Florida. Look what we have coming at us and you won't feel as bad. We may have to postpone because of a little gal named Wilma!
I never figured out how Fred got her for a wife ... Betty's not bad either. My favourite was Jane Jetson ... born at the wrong time, to late / to early!

Rain and Cider Mills don't go very well as almost everything is outdoors. If it was just 30% chance I would run with it. Beause it's a 80% chance it is really going to limit the fun we should have.
I'm thinking we should cancel and try for next weekend. If I cancel it for this weekend I would need to know who would be able to go next weekend?
Looking for some feedback from you guys!!!!
The only bummer is Rebel will be in Frankenmuth tomorrow. He was then going to hook up with us at the Cider Mill. I don't know if he will be able to make it next weekend.

Rescheduled for Saturday Oct-29th
MI- 1st Annual Cider Mill Run as been rescheduled for Saturday
October 29th.
Confirmed List
Hotrodgirl & Steve
Wingrider & Wife
rhobbel & Linda
I heard from Rebel and Scheide. They are not able to confirm until Friday.
Anyone who wasn't able to confirm for the 22nd-well then here is your chance to take a trip with us next weekend.
Hopefully we will have a top down kind off day!!!
Weekend weather looking good so far.
We will visit Yates for a short while then head out to Johnny Appleseed Cider Mill Washington, MI. (no link for this cider mill) There we can play a round of mini golf or par take in an ice cream or just enjoy the view.
Next up we will be heading up to Blake’s Apple Orchard and Cider Mill Armada, MI (we will be visiting two locations) Direction can be obtained from the link below.
This Cider Mill has a lot to offer. We will be ending the trip here.
I have already taken this route and can avoid all dirt roads. I know this may be far for some of you. Keep in mind this is an annual run so next year we will be heading in a different direction. I will need your input to avoid dirt roads in other areas.
Please e-mail me ASAP- I would like to get a head count soon. If we have enough people we may qualify for some group discounts.

Sorry Deb, can't make it next weekend. Kids are flying in from Virigina Beach with 3 year old grandson. We only get to see him about 4 times a year. They do stay with us when they come home so we can spoil him! He likes to sit in grandpa's SSR too.
Maybe we can hook up in the spring?
Happy Holloween, Scott and Karen

Great Lakes Great Times!
Johnny Appleseed Orchard-
We par took in a 18 hole Putt Putt golf game that we called the SSR Putt Putt Fall Classics. Hotrodgirls hubby Steve managed to have two hole-in-ones. His prize was two free suckers from the gift shop. His daughter arrived just in time to pick the prize out for him
I think we should stick to doing what we do best and that is cruzin in our SSR's.
It was a pretty tough course for being putt putt. What did you guys' think?

I was cruisin along under par till that 13th hole 9 strokes later and I was out of contention. ( I think that was the one Steve got his hole in one) Oh well, had a great time. My wife really enjoyed Blakes Cider Mill in Armeda we went on a hay ride to the Pumpkin Patch and picked our pumpkin out of a huge field. They had a cornfield maze that was pretty cool and the food was great! looking forward to future cruises.
Special thanks to Debbie (HotRodGirl) for making the 1st Michigan SSR Club Cider Mill Run such a great success.

Octagon House
Octagon House was built in 1860 and was once part of the Underground Railroad.
Turned into a restaurant in the late 1930's.Wayne State Agricultural Program after WWII and a working Farm and Museum from 1974 - 1984. We went on a tour of the 3200 sq foot home seeing all three floors and the underground tunnels for hiding the slaves. This home is currently being restored back to its original state and was wonderful to see.
