MI SSR Club- Pratt & Miller -When March 2nd. 2007

Back in December Keith (TuffSSR) offered to set up the next MI SSR Club get together. Keith has been working very hard on trying to find something new and exciting for us to do.

He has finally narrowed it down.......

We will be visiting the Pratt & Miller Engineering & Fabrication Building
29600 W. K. Smith Drive
New Hudson, MI 48165 (Map located on website)
NOTE: March 2nd Friday @ 3:30 P.M.

Dinner @ Bakers after the tour of the Pratt & Miller Building

In 2002 their Corvette Racing team won 10 of 11 races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the second year in a row. In 2003 they won their third consecutive ALMS team and manufacturer championships, and in 2004 they were undefeated, a dream season that included a third win in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

We will be seeing some high tech technology in the world of racing todays C6 Corvette. This world-class engineering company takes automotive-based programs all the way from concept to reality.

Keith will be keeping an eye on this thread and answering any questions you may have. Please PM him with any question or conerns you may have.

I am in the process of looking to purchase my first SSR. Is it possible to belong to the club prior to owning an SSR? I have been doing a lot of research and would love to find out more from current owners? We are in Almont, MI.

Yes, you can join without owing your SSR. A few other members have come out to see our SSR's at runs without having theirs with them.....learning a great deal of information as well.

I am the host of the MI SSR Club.com site. PM me your e-mail address and I will keep you posted on up and coming runs. This site offers a wealth of information.

Feel free to join us on this run......we may not have our SSR's with us due to weather conditions. But I'm sure we can answer many of your questions.

While I was away I received a call from Keith on the answering machine. We talked today.
The manager of the Pratt and Miller building (Brian Adkins) is recommending that we tour the facility on March 2nd at 3:30 P.M. The racing vettes will be getting ready to leave the building on the 9th of March. This is the main reason we need to change the date and time.

Please take note and let us know ASAP if you can still attend

We are SO sorry we are not in Michigan right now(weather we don't want to be in NOW)because we would so like to go with you!!
Hope to be back in your area the first week in April.I am so missing our SSR that is in storage for the winter.

We miss you not being with us on these winter runs. Although I don't blame you for not being here. Give me a heads up when you get back in town.....I'll then begin notifying you of MI events.
