I've been receiving many PM"s on this so here are some answers to some of your questions................
Steve and I have made hotel reservations at the Texas hotel arriving Sunday departing Friday
allowing us two days to travel down and two days coming home. It's 1487 miles from my home to Kerrville.
We talked this past weekend about caravanning together leaving Friday and hoping to pick some members from other states up along the route down.
As we get closer Steve and I will map out a route as we have already been planning some of it. We are planning on traveling thur a few states we haven't been in down that way....it may add a 100 miles or less to the travel time down.
