Met grimmye today
SSR Toy model drop off.......
Finally got a chance to meet up with grimmye today for the first time. Spoke with him and his lovely wife Rita for a little while. I had my out and they are taking their to a hockey game this afternoon. It was a pleasure having a chance to meet both of you.
After leaving here I headed down to try and hook up with r007g with no luck. We missed each other. Dropped off the model in the front door.....maybe next time. Sorry we didn't get a chance hook up
You two are the closest to me and I'll be watching for both of you as I am cruising around with Boopster this spring. Keep an for that !
HotRodGirl was so nice for Rita and I to meet you today and thanks for dropping off the models. Only wish you could have met Grimm, I know He would have liked you. Will try to make some MI SSR Club functions just have to time it with the capacity of my oxygen travel tanks. Gotta investigate reworking the SSR bed area so as to carry safely some extra oxygen tanks!

I wish I could have met Grimm too Someone on this site I'm sure can invent someway for you to travel with your oxygen tanks. We have a bunch of smart folks here......I'm sure we can come through for you.
Dear GRIMMYE, let me know if you can't find someone closer to help you with your tank holders. Shipping is really out of sight from California, but I will take on your project if you need me......

MI SSR Club 2008 Schedule of Events
Hi Gang,
Figured it was time to let you all know what SSR runs are coming up and which ones I am planning on attending. Hoping to get a few of you to come along to the ones listed below.I have picked two runs that are semi close (Kentucky Bourbon Trail Cruise & Niagara Falls SSR Run 2008) these will be part of the MI SSR Club runs for this year....Hope you can join in too.
We now have picked up a few more fanatics closer to my area where I will be trying to put together some dinner/breakfast meets thought out the spring and summer. There has been some talk about returning to the Pumpkin Run Car Show and Cruise in Houghton Lake in Sept/Oct of this year. Many of the members enjoyed this car show, the relaxing atmosphere and the fall colors.
Had the Niagara Falls run not taken place this year I was planning on a trip to the Northern tip or Caseville area of Michigan. This will be set up for next year. Looks like we have a full schedule for the SSR year ahead.
2) May 1, 2 & 3 Maggie Valley 2008 North Carolina Maggie Valley 2008 Run

Even though these runs aren't in Michigan we can always get together for dinner/breakfast plus a few cars shows. One that has been brought to my attention from Hot-Rod (Tom) that is in Milford.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. We are planning on the Niagara trip. It falls during my birthday so it works out well. Dinner in March sounds good.
