There are also many other SSR Runs across the US .......get your feet wet and come join us at one of the above two runs. We will head you in the right direction and connections for future runs.
You just missed the Woodward Dream Cruise watch under the National Thread for next years and under the "Great Lakes Section" for future runs.
Thanks for the welcome Deb! We are honored to be a included as a part of the Michigan Chapter (even though we are Indiana "aliens"). You do a great job of organization.
Ralpn & Ruth

Hi All
Hopefully we will be seeing warm weather soon I've had my out a few times over the past month.
Just a friendly update to let you all know Steve and I will not be attending the MV Rally this year.....I know many of you are going and I am very happy to see that
As many of you know I am in the middle of a remodeling project that is well over due....my money is going there for now
We are still trying for the Texas Rally........with Steve's new job it is still to early for us to tell whether we can make it or not
I will only be able to plan a few day runs this year so feel free to jump on in and plan a weekend for our MI Chapter Fanatics.
Love Ya All and hoping to be back full time having fun in the next year
Stay cruisin and I hope we can see everyone soon!!!

It was a tough call and even tougher when I had to PM Gina and then I talked to Danny on the phone last night.....Steve and I both love this run It's not in the budget to attend MV, Texas and the Keys in Nov. I can only wait and see month by month how things are going for us.
MV is the run that we get to see most of our MI Fanatics for the first time after winter. We will most definitely miss you guys too Have fun for us....OK? If I can't see you face to face then make sure you all are in the photos taken

Hi, I think HotRodGirl already has my email from a different thread, and since I'm officially taking delivery this weekend, and found THIS thread, I'd like to be counted among the Michigander Chapter!

Local talent for custom paint?
Hello MI Chapter-ites! Great time in Florida! I met Scott0168 & Karen and think I saw DavidandJulia (but didn't get around to introducing myself, sorry), and somehow missed Marty & Dee completely (sorry there too)... I met alot of people and had a load of fun!!
While there, and looking at all the R's, I got struck with some customization ideas of my own... who's our local talent/go-to artist shop? If you've got some shout-outs to pass along, I might be throwing some business their way.

Fender bender!
Well Karen and I had our first run of bad luck in Florida this week! A guy made a improper lane change in front of us on I-275 heading east out of St. Pete Monday morning. He wipped out my front bumper on my Chevy Avalanche. Try stopping when pulling a 7000 lb travel trailer! It could of been a lot worst. We were very lucky!
StingRay Chevrolet said they could have us repaired in a couple of days. Mean while we are hold up here at Lazydays RV park on I-4 exit 10. Not a bad place to rough it if you have ever stayed here.

Thanks to everyone for your concern! Karen and I are both OK.
It was the front bumper and the reese hitch that they will replace. No body or paint damage, thank heaven. It goes into the body shop at Stingray Chevrolet tomorrow here in Plant City, Florida. They said it shoulld be only a one day job. We attended a Florida SSR rally at Stingray Chevy last year! Very nice people to deal with too. Ray you are right. Glad it was not the R!
