The $5.00 gifts were great thanks for participating in it!! In keeping with the traditional SSR Fanatic Story I made up one for the Michigan group to participate in....A Right to left game passing the present in that direction when those two words were mentioned. It was fun, I heard laughter when you had to pass it right then left or right, right quickly.....right?
The story went like this with all names in participation........
Christmas was almost here and Jack RIGHT was polishing his SSR
Marty RIGHT, Dee RIGHT and JP RIGHT returned from their last-minute Christmas errands
“There’s not much LEFT to be done”, said Scott RIGHT as he came into the kitchen.
“Did you leave the SSR in the garage”, asked Debbie RIGHT
“ I LEFT it RIGHT where you told me to”, said Steve RIGHT
“I’m glad my shopping is done”, said Karen RIGHT. “I don’t have any money LEFT.
The hall telephone rang, and Brenda RIGHT LEFT to answer it.
She rushed back and told the family “Aunt Judy RIGHT LEFT a package for us RIGHT on Grandpa Rebels porch.
I’ll go over there RIGHT now and get it, she said as she LEFT in a rush.
Charlie RIGHT LEFT the kitchen and brought in a Christmas tree.
By the time Judy RIGHT returned, Carl RIGHT, Machelle RIGHT, and Cordell RIGHT had begun trimming the tree.
The entire RIGHT family sang carols as they finished the decorating.
Janell, Pat and Karl RIGHT LEFT to make hot chocolate for everyone.
Then they LEFT all the presents arraigned under the tree and went to bed, hoping they had selected the RIGHT gifts for their family.
Now I hope you have the RIGHT present for yourself, because that’s all that’s LEFT of our SSR Fanatic/SSR Club story…….
Except to wish each and everyone of you a Very Merry Christmas……Isn’t that Right?
No one ended up with the gift they brought
I received a $5.00 gift certificate to Starbucks and Steve got a nice X-Mas mug in a matching basket.

Just arrived home. Thanks everyone for a great time. Thanks Santa for the Starbucks gift certificate and for the Woodward Dream cruise cd. Also it was so nice of Rebel to give everyone a bottle of maple syrup. Nice to see everyone again. Enjoyed the Christmas exchange very much. HRG out did herself again. Welcome JP and Michele. Nice to meet you and hope to get a chance to spend some time with you in Maggie Valley.

Cordell and I would just like to say thank you to Debbie for yet again putting together a wonderful event!!!! We had a great time, and enjoyed seeing everyone, as well as meeting our newest members. The SSR X-mas story and gift exchange was awesome too!!!

Just want to say thanks to Debbie and Steve for getting us SSR Fanatics together last night. I think a great time was had by all! I know Karen and I had a good time. It was great seeing everyone again, especially the new members. Just want to wish everyone a a very Merry Christmas.
Debbie your planning and hard work were evident again with the dinner, gift exchange, story (thanks for putting it on the sight), etc.
Judy and I enjoyed seeing everyone again. It was nice to welcome Wizard (JP & Michele) to our group and to meet HotRodChevy (Karl & Pat) for the first time. Turns out JP & Michele lived about 1/2 mile from us on the same road & same side when we both lived in Port Huron. Small world!!!!
Thanks to Rebel (Ed & Brenda) for the maple syrup and to whomever for the polishing cloths and Santa tree ornament.

Ya know what last nights meeting paid off in more ways then you think.....
Last night Janell asked where she could get an SSR Owners manual that fits in the glove box of the R. She had the vinyl cover but never got the manual insert for it. The dealership did give her a larger one.
Visiting an SSR merchandise connection today......right before leaving I was asked...."Hey do you know of anyone who could use this"? I couldn't believe it when I was handed the small service manual
I couldn't wait to get home and tell Janell I have one for her....she has a 2004 this is a 2003......but it works
