For my Fellow Erma's Lovers

For Bob & Melinda (Blastfrompast) AZ, whom made several trips (I lost count) to Erma's Ice Cream Custard Shop while visiting for the WDC. They found it on their GPS, however I did post a link under the WDC 2007 thread. Erma's is right down the street from me and have been in business since 1949, celebrating their 65th Anniversary yesterday.

Stephen had the dirt pie (looks just like dirt with gummy worms on the top) and Steve and I had the famous custard twist chocolate and vanilla. The flavor for this week is Butter finger Crunch. Their was a 20 minute wait for a fresh batch so we decided to just get the regular.

Bob and Melinda left the Woodward Lot to head towards Erma's before going to the banquet

Melinda and I were discussing our possible return to the WDC next year and we both want to go. For me it's the great friends and great cars. For Melinda, it's the great friends and Erma's!!

It was great that Erma's was celebrating their 65th birthday on Saturday, 8-18. It's not often that you see something older than Bob still going strong!! Debbie, you have great taste in cars and ice cream! I can't decide what I liked better, the "Tin Roof" or the "Peach parfait". I have to try both of them several times next year to help me decide!
