Ohio Fanatic Volunteer Requested!

If there are any Fanatics in the Northeast Ohio / Cleveland area that could spare some time for product development for a WebElectric plug-n-play pulsing middle brake light module, your time and vehicle volunteered for inspection may help make a good safety accessory item available for SSR owners.

Thanks

Jack,

Call or email WebElectric and ask them when they would like to see your SSR's middle brake light set up and stop by their place.

This was WebElectrics response to me by e-mail when I ask if they had a plug-n-play system for the SSR.

"I don't have access to an SSR, so I don't know if I will be able to develop a P-N-P version for it.
Can you take some pictures of the connector?
Do you know if the LED on the SSR is the same as the Corvette?

Any Fanatics close to Mayfield, Ohio may can arrange an appointment to drop by with an SSR, WebElectrics may have or develop what we need.

We have a good opportunity here to have a worthwhile product developed specifically for us to provide an added safety feature for our rides.

The SSR third brake light is the same one as the vette has.

The one for the corvette will plug and play for the SSR just fine.

Would be interested to what type of module they came up with to have it pulse for apprx 1 second and then stay on for the length of the stop.

Not only does Fuzzy paint like a pro but he knows his stuff when it comes to the SSR. Fuzz you just made this project so much easier. Now I've got to spend more money.

They would probably have to make the harness wires longer since our third brake light is in the tailgate. They have two vette setups. One for 2005 and later and the other for 2004 and older.

The pig tail on the third brake light is only about 6" long. The module will fit insdie the tailgate and can be two sided taped to the inside some where or mounts to the inner surface of the gate if need be.

A very easy install.
