Orange-SSR Spotted M-59/Hall Road Area

Spotted not once but twice by hubby & my son.............

there is an orange SSR traveling the M-59/Hall Road area both boys say it's sweet

So heads-up for those of you whom live around me. Keep an

out and flag him/her down if possible.

Anyone know who it belongs to????

Was it Atomic Orange (like the new corvette)? I love that color

Both boys described it as the "Sunburst Orange" that was to be the 2007 SSR Model

I think this orange SSR is like an urban myth! Periodic sightings but no pics! Maybe a blurry and grainy video will show up???

I would love to see this R... I think the SSR would look soooo cool in that color! We have a Sunburst Orange HHR and get comments on it all the time.

That's about 15-20 Miles away from my area.....it's been spotted both times in the M59/VanDyke area.

That SSR is or was owned by one of the top executives that had worked at ASC. It was on eBay but pulled off when the bids didn't go much over $40,000.

The orange SSR referred to in the photos above was built on the regular production line in Lansing. It was a one of a kind color that ran right down the production line with the rest of the SSR's in Lansing. It was taken to the ASC Engineering Center and modified with custom interior etc. Last I knew it was still being driven by ASC's CEO. We called it "The Orange Crush".
