Deb, Marty and I also want to say thanks for a wonderful weekend. It couldn't have been better weather wise. The worse part is always saying good bye and going our seperate ways.
We stopped in Lansing at a Steak n Shake for dinner. A lady saw Pudgy in the parking lot and came into the restaurant to find us. She remembered us from the closing last year. She wanted to thank us for coming and supporting the employees and everyone connected with the SSR. She told us how sad it was for them and how much they appreciated the SSR owners. Anyway, she turned out to be Linda Ellis, who had done interviews with you, Devistator, Mke in AZ etc. We told her we had just spent the weekend you and other Fanatics and she was very interested in what all of us had been doing. She asked if we were at Woodward and if we go next year to get in touch with her. She'd like to come and see us. We asked her to stay and have dinner with us, but she had to be somewhere else. I thought it was great that she took the time to come in and find us.

Wow that is really weird cause today I received an e-mail from Susan Devoy LCC employee whom I hugged on the line and this past weekend one from Sue Figel LCC. Linda is a wonderful lady, she did attend the LCC Picnic last year with us but only for a short while I tried to e-mail Linda with the e-mail address she gave me, with no luck......did she give you any information on how to get in touch with her? I tried to invite her to this years WDC!
I am so glad to hear she took the time to visit with you....she's a doll!!!

Judy & Jack (OLDYELR) headed towards the Mackinaw Bridge........I heard from them on the way home as they spotted a model at a gift shop and called to see if I wanted one. They should see some wonderful color as that area is in peak.

I would like to thank you both for coming out and joining us for your first run We very much enjoyed your company. I also wish you could attend the PA run. We will be looking forward to getting out with you two again.
These Michigan runs won't happen unless you participate....I don't mind doing the work.
The reward : I get to spend time with great folks like you
A very special Thank You to Judy (Seajay05) who made me an SSR bracelet that matches my and the ankle bracelet Gina made me. Talk about looking good!!!

Judy,
Wanted you to know I spoke with Ann last night and she in return wanted me to tell all of you how much fun she had with everyone. When I bought my Ann never understood why and still today doesn't.....after meeting all of you she stated "How lucky I was to meet such great people" Everyone at the hotel talked about what a great group we were.
Ann worked off duty many times for Steve and I.....plunging the toilet at one time for us I spend a lot of time with Ann.....she is my 1 year younger sister....so I have to keep her in line She is hoping that we come back next year......the staff realy enjoyed having us there

I wanted Ann to drive it many times, she won't..... maybe cause she knows how much I love it and would be afraid too. She just always tells me no and that she would rather sit in the passenger seat. I really wanted her to experience the drive time not just the passenger time. Last time I was up north her and I took off in the towards Oscoda to visit with a bowling friend. She really enjoyed the top down drive in the country and by the lake.
I may not be able to talk Ann into it but I know my daughter is an easy target

Judy #3 (youngest) and I had a great weekend. Thanks for setting evrthing up. The weather was beautiful, as it was last year. It was nice seeing all the familiar faces along with some new ones.
We got home Monday evening around 8:00 pm. The weather was great, top down all the way to Indain River on way up and all the way home from Mackinaw. Saw another slingshot yellow parked along main stareet in Cherlevoix.
Color at the straits was no better than at Houghton Lake. Think we were a couple weeks early.
