For those leaving on Thursday morning (April 30th), how about meeting at the McDonalds in Lima, Ohio (I-75 at Exit #135) at 8:00AM?
I'm sure that most of us will be ready for at least a coffee and a "comfort stop" by that time.
If we can leave Lima by 8:45AM we should be able to be in Maggie Valley (without speeding too much) before 6:00PM.
As of now, our plans are to continue on from Maggie Valley to visit relatives in S.C. so we probably won't be retuning home until later in the following week, and I probably won't be taking the SSR this time , but I don't want to miss this opportunity to meet a lot of the folks at MV.
BTW, most of us have cell phones these days, but we use those little Motorola "Talkabout" radios when traveling in groups, and they're a lot of fun too. I have one pair that I'll share and if you have one bring it, and if not Sam's Club has them in pairs with chargers for about $50.
Perhaps we can pick up some more folks fron Canada, or as we go thru Ohio, Ky, and TN if they happen to scan our mail?
Last year we meet at the junction of 75 & 30 near Lima at 9:00 am . This was good because some of the group had to travel 4 hours to meet us at 9:00 am. Piqua is about 1 hour from Lima. Piqua would be fine for me but feel that it might be to far for the others. The stop in Lima is good it has the cheapest gas in Ohio .Lets hear from the others.

I am not going to Maggie but in keeping with the generousity that has been shown me from members here, I am willing to help in any way with troubles..etc.
I am 2 1/2 hrs away (Akron) from Lima but will be around and can help with spare wheel, spare car if needed for emergencies, etc. I will be here until May 8th as I am headed to bike week then..but until then...if any troubles....just call....
I will PM Harley my cell phone if you want it. Just ask.
Hey Scott, I don't need a calendar with you on here. You sound anxious or is it Karen who can't wait to get there? Ask her if she thinks we need reservations with FruryKay so we get our favorite seats? Can you give me a countdown in hours and minutes?
