Hopefully, We will be in Daytona Beach for 4 months (Jan-Apr). The place we stay at had some damage. I hope it is repaired by Jan. I can't wait to meet all my Florida Fanatic friends again.
Sadly, one of our favorite top down cruising roads was washed out. I don't think that will fixed for a while. A1A in the Flager beach area.
I just got my R back after hitting a deer and tomorrow it is going into the transmission shop for a rebuild. I should be ready to head south then.
Have a safe trip to all that are heading South.

We will become full time Floridian as of 12/5. We will be living in the Iona area of Fort Myers. Looking forward to becoming part of the "Florida Gang". The R has been in Florida since January, paid a visit to it last week and I must say I didn't realize how much I missed driving with the top down and the rumble of the exhaust. Hope to see some of the snowbirds this season.

Well Scott, after being out of Michigan by this time for the last fifteen years, we are still here at the house. They are talking about snow soon so I guess we will just wait and see if they are correct. We will be staying in Michigan for winters so I hope that our place in Florida is being loved by the couple that is staying there now. We were very blessed to have been able to go south for winters so now we will try to do winters with out warm weather and lots of snow. Sorry not to see you and Karen this winter so stay safe, and Karen get that knee exercised.

Well after arriving in Florida at the end of November I haven't had much fun this year!
First it was a severe case of kidney stones that were too large to pass naturally! So they had to be blasted them into smaller pieces.
Since that procedure was completed in December the stones seem to be gone!
Now I have something else going on that may make me return to Michigan for further medical treatment. I have a appointment with a cardiologist tomorrow here in Florida.
Wish me luck!

Yes Scott, hope it's nothing so serious that you have to return to Michigan this time of year. Gosh, got Dicktator and Diana Busch (had2hvt) with "ticker" problems on my morning Prayer list and now will add you. Got excellent news about Diana last night from husband Alan. Everything is going great so far, with operation scheduled this morning. Will be about a 3 to 4 hour procedure. Bob Alexander the "old" tennesseecozydog. Time to go for my brisk 30 minute walk.

Good news!

Yes! I was released from Port Charlotte hospital on Friday March 17. I ended up having a heart attack! I ended up having a new pig valve inserted thru my groin area. This is brand new technicalogy!
Thanks for all your prayers!
