Because Fuzzy and his SSR will be in the display for the Blackhawk Technical Aviation center, ALong with the Custom Painted Cesna 172 that mimics tha paint scheme off my SSR.

Gatee open at 9 AM and Opening ceramonies begin at 12:15

These two will be sie by side all weekend at the Blackhawk technical aviation building.

It's right next door to Regal Beloit's 50M $ jet.

Also right ccross the entrance road is the Glen Arron Golf course. Might just have to play a round in the AM befoe the main Air show starts.

The daughter and I have been out in the shop cleaning and detailing all afternoon.

As I was washing it, she came from the back yard and said "I wanna help"

After washing and drying, we pulled it in the Shop and put a coat of Liquid Glass on the SSR.

Then she asks where's the interior detailer?

She proceeded to detail the inside of the SSR. Smells great and looks terrific.

Last thing to do is clean the glass.

Tomarow morning I have to be at the Airport by 9 am for set up.

Fuzzy, Great pictures. Looks like a fun show. But I have one question, being around planes with "round engines" you have a photo of the Stearman, two Twin Beech's, and one lovely Staggerwing. None of the round engines have any oil slicks on the floor. I am a firm believer that if a round engine does not have any oil on the cowl or on the floor, then engine is out of oil. Did you wipe up the oil before you did the photo?

I didn't wipe up the floor before the pics but the guys that own the maintenance hanger probably did.

YESTERDAY JUST AS THE SHOW WAS ABOUT TO GET UNDER WAY SOME ONE CRASH LANDED A PLANE ON IT'S BELLY. Blocked the run ways and closed the airport for 1/2 hour or better. Come to find out he landed cause the engine wasn't running right and he forgot to put the landing gear down. When they went to check the plane the prop had hit the ground causing catastrohpic failure to the engine. Looks like he'll have a hefty 50K tag to fix it if he does. ENGINE, BELLY METEAL,PROP AND MECHANICS BILL.
