Spent the day Cleaning
Hi Fanatics
I had a great day today in balmy southern Ontario LOL. Well the sun was out and I guess it might have hit 50 today. Pulled the baby out of the garage and cleaned her from top to bottom, all the neighboors came over and all loved it I think a couple of them wanted to buy one but I told them it drives like a piece of crap LOL so far I think it has worked LOL. Anyway I was smiling all day while polishing, cleaning and such, don't ever remember having so much fun cleaning a car but then this is no car is it. I cannot believe I actually have one and I would not trade it for any other vehicle out there., and the price in my opinion 30K for an 2005 with 3800 miles on is a steal. If anyone really wants a fantastic, unique and fast machine that likely will not lose a whole lot in value I can't think of a better Sports vehicle to buy for the money, I am not kidding my neighboors were drooling over it and some of them have nice rides, viper, vette etc. they just loved the room, sound and looks and when i put the top down they were amazed. Am I bragging, sorry can't help it LOL. Grinning fro ear to ear
I have a couple of questions though . What is the best cleaner for Chrome and removing water spots from Chrome. Also need to know what works good for cleaning Billets. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, I tend to like "Mothers" products for chrome and billet. They make a polish for the chrome and a paste for the billet, both work great.

washing and cleaning the SSR - it's my favorite way to spend the day, other than driving it that is. Waiting for the weather to smarten up a bit better before I start polishing.
Have only been able to wash and dry it this month. And that usually takes me at least 3 hours. I crank up the tunes and leave the phone in the house because I don't want any interuptions
Thanks for the chrome/billet quiry. I've added some chrome pieces and will be getting the billet fluid caps soon so will need to add to my shelf of Mothers products.
I was sick of waiting for good weather to take my SSR out, Muskoka winters last a long time.
Now that I'm on Vancouver Island we SSR all year. Just got back from Victoria, sunny and 12. Roof down foot on the pedal.
Sorry to rub it in a little but I had my share of it last year.
