Once again the Christmas Season is rapidly approaching so before we all get too involved with family obligations, etc., it's time for us to do OUR SSR Family Christmas Dinner.
Mark your calendar for SAUTRDAY, DECEMBER 4th, at 5:00PM.
Please respond on this thread by December 1st if you are planning to attend so I can make appropriate reservations.
Staying traditional, we'll use the Country Inns & Suites at 3506 O'neill Dr., Jackson, MI for lodging and the Olive Garden at 3500 O'neill Dr. (across the parking lot) for dinner.
The telephone number for the Country Inns hotel is: 517-788-6400.
Apparently some of our snowbird members have already flown south for the winter and will not be able to attend. However, we are hopeful that some of the new SSR owners, as well as some from our neighboring states may decide to join us for the last SSR event of the year

UPDATE NOVEMBER 29th: Elizabeth has suggested that we do a Christmas Tree "ornament" exchange. Each person should bring a wrapped ornament that they believe best represents them. AND PLEASE......no kinky stuff ya'll!!!!

Glen, my man, were you by anyway refering to US as the ones that had already left the cold country???? We can have it in Florida, if you want to put us to shame like that!!! Did we get out of town in time or not, is it snowing yet????
Anyway, we sure hope that you all have a great time and we do miss you one and all very much.

As a matter of fact, I was referring to to ya'll, but I meant it in the nicest, possible manner.
Personally, I have yet to see the first snowflake this year.
The weather forecast for this coming weekend is calling for temps near 50 degrees but it looks as though things may do downhill starting next week.
Ya'll stay warm and toasty now, ya here?
And don't be totally shocked if you hear a Harley (or two) rumble in your neighborhood one of these days.
I'm so sorry, but we will not be able to attend since our Christmas dinner for the Motor City Cushman Club is the same weekend. We will try to make the next event for sure. Thanks - Tim & Diane.

Christmas Dinner
Hi to all the SSR Fanatics. JP (Wizard) and I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.
We haven't been able to make any of the get togethers this year We are planning on attending the Christmas Party on the 4th . That is if "OldYelr" picks us up.
We can't wait to see everyone, it's always a good time

Please remember how delicate my sensibilities are! The mere mention of Marty's ornaments brought on a slight dizzy spell!
We are looking forward to viewing and dispersing all the ornaments to those who most quickly guess the appropriate representative of the ornament - and Dave do not put your name on one!
And for those of you staying at the Country Inn with your lovely host and hostess (and no Scott you are not staying in our room) there will be a relatively delightful surprise..........
