Woodward Dream Cruise “A Century of GM Cruising”

As part of our GMnext celebration, General Motors will sponsor “A Century of GM Cruising” on Saturday, Aug. 16 as part of the Woodward Dream Cruise festivities in the Metropolitan Detroit Area.

The GM Cruise -- held in conjunction with the General Motors Heritage Center -- will travel from the GM Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit, up historic Woodward Avenue to join the Dream Cruise.

And, we are asking employees, retirees and car enthusiasts to be a part of this historic ride. Everyone has a story to tell about their GM vehicle and we want to hear yours, more specifically, we want to hear why you have a passion for your GM vehicle.

We are looking for cars of every era to participate in this event.

Send us a one-page description about your passion for your GM vehicle along with photographs showing at least two and no more than four views of your vehicle. The deadline for your story and photos is Friday, June 20.

If your vehicle is selected for the GM Cruise you will be notified no later than Wednesday, July 18.

Send your entries either via email to: gmhc@gm.com or by mail to:

General Motors Heritage Center
6400 Center Drive
Sterling Heights, MI 48312
c/o “A Century of GM Cruising”

Please include your address, phone number and email address.
