Cool

Wow, HRG, those pictures are scary!
I thought we had it bad here in the mid-west...
Nothing quite as bad as they have it there where those pictures were taken.

I'm moving somewhere warm as soon as my wife & I retire.
I am sick of snow!

I just got in from shoveling snow so yea....count my hand up. It is very wet snow so a pain to shovel. Hot Rod Girl, I saw those same pics last year and appears to be a shame for location. Those were taken somewhere in Canada awhile ago when a bad, bad storm hit...just can't remember now where. I know when I first saw (someone had said Buffalo) those pics, I was like you...was never ever gonna complain again...

Here's the latest from So. Ca........it's a little past 1:00 p.m. and our patio thermometer (in the shade) reads 80 degrees. We're in our shorts, wearing sunglasses and the top of the SSR is down. Those snow photos are beautiful, but I wouldn't want to live there.

Hey Maui Mike,
That sure looks beautiful there where you live.
Especially after shoveling that wet, heavy snow this morning.

DITTO ! !

In So Cal we have lots of snow in the local mountains an hour away. Skiiers are still having a ball and talking about skiing through to Easter.

In the High Sierras (4 hours away) 15-20 feet of base and they're talking about skiing on July 4th ! !

Sheesh sun gods...leave us to our misery will ya!?.. I promise when you guys have volcanoes, earthquakes, mudslides, wildfires, hurricanes, droughts, and major power failures... I won't drop in with my magarita and confess how nice it is in the ole midwest without those...

I would like to get to the point where I could leave this mess for your sun for about two months of the year though...preferably January and February..just way too many gray days those months. But a daughter in college and a son about to go...just a dream for now.

I am now

Took the tractor out yesterday to snow blow and after just a short time the pins on the augers broke

Pulled it in the garage and hammered oput the broken pins nad replaced them.
Fired up the tractor to finish snow blowing and the tractor ran for about ten seconds, heard a few few strange noise then it quit. Checked the battery. OK. checked the electrical systemFound a burnt fuse, replaced it and tried again. Pop went the fuse. Pulled the switch out and took it apart. appeared to be scorched. Found a replacement and installed it. New fuse again and triad. Pop went the fuse again.

Out the door I went cussing and grabbing a shovel to finish the long driveway by hand.

Today I have to dismantle the thing to find out what is causing the short in the starting system

With that said, I'd have to definately say YES I'M TIRED OF THE SNOW!!!!!!

Now to go fix it so I can get some other work done.
