Just wondering; is it in Warren? I am trying figure out if I can leak over there for a bit as I will be attending my sister in law's wedding in Marshall, but not sure about distance; won't have the SSR but love Hot Rods etc.

...

Ya ...a one day event that starts one week ahead of posted date. Many of the go fast cars that can not run bumper to bumper speeds with out over heating, cruise Woodward every night for a week before hand.

You ain't kidding....but actually they are crusing now and will till the Big Day and after

Since we aren't doing a BBQ on the lot I would like to cruise Saturday of the Big Day.....that's our best chance of getting TV/Photo opportunities But if I do ...I have to get my fan replaced

Thanks for the info; will see how the weekend shakes out; also not sure if coming into Detroit or Kalamazoo; if Detroit, looks pretty close by even if we check out Friday night only.

GOD BLESS THE USA!

Mike,

Pat & I live about 10 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport. If you can make it for Friday, let us know. We can either chauffeur you over to the Friday stuff, or caravan if you will have a rental car.

Let us know.

I'll PM you my cell phone number.

Thanks Charlie:
Will keep you posted on our plans; would love to check it out; sounds a lot like the "WEST COAST NATIONAL'S" put on by the "GOOD GUYS" in Pleasanton Cal where we used to live.

GOD BLESS THE USA.

We're planning on coming again! Last year was a hoot and this year my buddy Mark got the winning design for the official Dream Cruise T-shirt! Some of you may remember Mark from last year. He's all proud of himself! LOL!

For me, the best day was Thursday night on Woodward. OMG.... what fun! I was red light racing with others just like I did when I was younger. Brought back some killer memories! I loved it! And the cars on Saturday... there is NOTHING like it! So many!

Can't wait on this end!

I was a "First Timer" last year - for Car Crazies this is THE event to see...

It's like Disneyland for Hot Rods!!!!

I still haven't recovered....

I keep looking for training classes that work can send me to (I drove a rental car from Cincinnati last year) again this year...

Getting close!

Deb says there's still plenty of SSR parking left on Woodward. If we had to pay for these parking spots it would be very $$$$$$! But its FREE!!!

Where on Woodward are you guys parking; will you be parked Friday night or just Saturday; still not sure we will stop by Friday on our way to Marshall but wondering where on Woodward it starts? From what I see posted it seems to start around mile 12, is this right?

In the official WDC thread the address for the Bank is posted.....Saturday will be the only day that we have the lot.....we will be cruising it on Friday only. The start area for Woodward is below 12 mile I think 8-9 Mile Rd and upwards into Pontiac
