The Second Annual Disneyland Day for the SSR Fanatics is Saturday, May 24, 2008. Just like last year we will start with breakfast at Mimi's Cafe in the morning with the lovely Mrs. Hatterhead there to greet you. Following breakfast there will be a short caravan to the parking structure. After that, we all jump on a tram and let the fun begin!
Of course we will all try to meet up sometime midday to get a group shot. Who knows, there might even be a World Famous Disney Character or two waiting to join us.
The park is open from 8:00 AM till Midnight so we will have a full day of fun. There will be more detailed info on hotels, tickets, etc., but for now, anyone that is interested please post and I will start putting together a sign up list.
Here is some info on the hotel that Wayne and Sandy have booked: "The hotel I booked is the Best Western Park Place at 1544 S. Harbor Blvd. They are a mini suite, K or Q beds, includes breakfast. $102/nt or $114/nt depending on if you have AAA..... I booked it on the BW website."
It sounds like a pretty good deal, so if anyone out there needs a room you might try this one.
Let's make this event even more magical than last year.

Sorry I'm late but sign me up anyway. I will try to have a partner for the run this year. She is not much on early rising and often complains I wear her out and she may be working.

But she so needs your love and concern, Tony. You can plainly see the Mad Hatter (our Mr. Hatterhead) is willing to sign the marriage license. For So Cal Fanatics this is truly a local run and part of our national identity. Every truck in the basin should be here without question. You can count me in, Jim . . . wouldn't miss this.
