OMG, a Disneyland VIRGIN ! !
They are so very rare ! ! She will have to be "broken-in" appropriately. Maybe a personal visit with Mickey or Donald (if we could just get him to put his pants on)

Thumbs up O.K. we're booked

Finally got my airmiles to cover the flight. We will be at the hotel around 3:00 friday afternoon. Couldn't get out sunday, so we leave midday monday.
The hotel I booked is the Best Western Park Place at 1544 S. Harbor Blvd. They are a mini suite, K or Q beds, includes breakfast. $102/nt or $114/nt depending on if you have AAA..... I booked it on the BW website.
We'll just walk to Mimi's from there.

Thanks fo setting up this 2nd Disney Day Jim, I've been looking forward to it since we got home from the last one.

Sandy

Sunday

I have not forgotten the request. Just have not been able to think about it much this week. I thinik it is doable but need to know what you wnat to do besides watch trains. Maybe if LT led a group over Tpoanga from the coast then into Pasadena we could meet up and see some of the sights then have hamburgers or such on my patio and watch trains for a while. Not sure there is much to see but the Rose Bowl and some big houses in Pasadena really.

Glad you guys were able to make arrangements. I have posted the hotel info in the first post for anyone else that may need a room. Makes sense to stay together just in case a breaks out. SECURITY! (Where is Linda?)

And where you find these two you'll usually find their two cohorts . . . Janet (Mrs Hatterhead) and Cathy (ssJeff). Hmmmmmmmmm . . . it seems a police cruiser won't be large enough. They'd better bring a "paddy wagon".

However, in her defense, Vix was "mysteriously" missing from the Laughlin distrubance.

They're not only big....they're awesome!!!! The Gamble House is breathtaking. What an architectural wonder. The Disney Grand Californian Hotel was inspired by many of the Frank Lloyd Wright inspirations used in the Gamble House.

We could always cruise the Huntington Hotel and give their valet a run for their money

Lightbulb Just a thought

What about a run that goes from the Anaheim area, for those that have hotels, proceed up the coast to Malibu and then over to Pasadena? We could pick up fanatics along the way!

I will see if I can get a sensible route figured out around the city and then I need some idea of how many would be participating soI can let the neighbors kow how much of the street we will need for parking. It is a nice street but is lined with Jaquaranda and I do not remember if they will be in bloom then or not. If they are we need to think about covers because the flowers stain.

Picture 1 is the street without the bloom
Picture 2 is nearly the same shot with the trees in bloom
