I don't remember this road ever being closed due to SNOW.
This is the route we took last year to Ragged Point...
Imagine what the Giant Sequoias are experiencing right now.
I'm new-----I would like to go-----How do I sign up?---Where does everyone stay? Who do I pay what to?
TKS GTC
Sign up - I think you just did
Stay - majority at the Swedish Inn (a small town motel, nothing special but very close). Make reservations early as it tends to fill up.
Pay - You can send me as much as you like (just kidding). There is no fee aside from paying your own way. With this bunch, you may not even get a chance to do that..
Thanks All for the reply-----I met Keith at the Brentwood parade along with a dozen others----It was short but both Louise and I had fun---I will make reservations tomorrow and am looking forward to meeting all of you.
TKS GTC oh yea--I have a Silver 2006 and only 5000 miles and many smiles

Hello George!
This is a nice RELAXED weekend for us to get together and hang out. The Swedish Inn in in town, but there are a couple Best Westerns nearby (Selma and Dinuba) that handle the 'overflow' visitors.
Where will you be coming from? Since we met in Brentwood - I assume Northern Cal... Steve Hull usually arranges the Northern Cal caravan if you want to travel with other SSR's...
It will be kinda hard to beat last years number of SSR's in attendance, but we should have 40 or so SSR's here!

YEP! All this time I thought I had the longest running event!
You are correct - there sure weren't many on the road around my parts in April 04 - in fact I figured I'd be the only one on display in Kingsburg! The 3 others that showed up were locals...
Hi Keith
I'm in Pleasanton Ca------home of the Good Guys car club.
I made reservations for all three days. Here is the Info if others need it.
Swedish Inn
401 Conejo Street, Kingsburg, CA 93631
Phone: (559) 897-1022 Fax: (559) 897-0134
Reservations: (800) 834-1022
By the way Keith, I plan to be there for all three day and participate in all the frivolity available. Most likely will stay in Selma but that may change. I will be there
We will try and be there, We Host the Western National Street Rod Show at the end of April. By the way if anyone would like to make it to Bakersfield I believe the dates are 25,26,27 of April. for the NSRA, all entries must be pre-1949 I have a 1940,41 and 42 Ford to get ready for the Show. I may have time to finish one. I do all the work myself, so it,s not like the TV show Overhaulin. I wish I had Fifty or so people helping me. I bet we all wish that would happen. Frank and Chris Henson "MoodyBlue"
I live in Fresno and will be attending events. Any objection to bringing by 1953 5 window cab, Yukon Yellow, 1/2ton Chevy Truck for Saturday display next to my Slingshot Yellow, 2005, six-speed? John

No problem - we'd all like to see the '53 (I think I've seen it in Fresno???) in Kingsburg.
Did you want to enter the '53 in the Car Show? If so, since the Kingsburg Show is a Pre-73, SSR's are too new to enter - but we are allowed 'display' status, and are not actually entered in the show.
We park just off the main drag (Draper St) where the 'Entered' cars park & can arrange for the '53 to be close by if you enter it...

Remember this Thread? Light Lime Green SSR
You should see if that owner wants to meet with us as he is in the Visalia area.
I'm sure we'll all be happy to help him remove that Ford oval.
