4th of July Invite
On July 4th we will be gathering in Rancho Bernardo for this year's
Wheels of Freedom Motorfest as part of RB's annual Spirit of the Fourth
Celebration. In addition to their annual parade and fireworks display,
we are anticipating our largest-ever auto show - this year being
sponsored by the Elephant Bar Restaurant.
Cash prizes will be awarded, and a number of great items will be
raffled throughout the event. So please plan to join us from 9:00 to
2:30 at Webb Park, located behind the Medical Building on Bernardo
Center Drive (across from the Chevron Station).
You can register online by sending me a note with your name, mailing
address and the vehicle you are bringing. There is no registration fee.
Show is open to Hot Rods, Classics, Customs, Exotics, Motorcycles,
Specialty Vehicles and Race Cars. (Space is available for trailers).

It's adjacent to the southerly side of Escondido along I-15 and, technically, is part of the City of San Diego. The show is on Bernardo Center Dr. on the easterly side of I-15. Bernardo Center Dr. is an exit off of I-15

We had a terrific turn out today with 7 SSR's and 2 Mystery Guests and 1 newbie. Thanks to blznssr (mike), LarryL, DateTruck(Jackie & Syd), Purple Hawk, Bert&Sherry Schneider(all the way from Vegas!), Bob&Eleanor Jacobs. The Mystery guests, Vix & Fredster, and ICBlue (Roberto&Eileen) just popped in! What a treat!
Also, met Charlie from Escondido with a very nice 3 window who just adopted a Yellow! Hope he starts lurking soon..... The weather was really accomodating in the hi 80's with a nice ocean breeze to cool us down. Could not have ordered-up better weather.

Thank you for the great photos Fuji. It's a fun and relaxed show with a great diversity of cars and trucks and a very interesting group of people. I think Ken will have to find more space for next year.

Ken,
You obviously are on to something by not limiting the age and type of cars. Great relaxed atmosphere with a diversity of cars and trucks that bring a variety of very interesting people to meet and talk with. Thank you for your efforts.
