cars and coffee vegas to irvine ca trip

we will be leaving utah on friday to meet a car club from vegas that plans on caravaning to irvine california sat the 17th ,attending the cars and coffee event, then driving to san diego. we will be driving our vette,but i would rather drive the ssr.
the group we found would like to invite anyone that would enjoy a road trip. all makes welcome. they would love to have ssr's come too.
this will be our first time in irvine,I heard the cars and coffee event is huge there. hopefully we will see some ssr's.
if interested I can post more details.

This Friday is the 16th. Saturday is the 17th.

Remember, Irvine Cars and Coffee is a very large and the CA Car Clubs get there EARLY to save spaces. So, dont plan on getting to Cars and Coffee at 8 AM and expecting to have a space. So, get there early and put the cones out. Have a safe trip and SLOW DOWN.

Oops.... Thinking one thing typing something else.. Fixed now.

Cones won't work there as it is first come first served. To park as a group, get there early as a group. Best to be there and parked by about 7.

I would go but that is to many miles for me to drive and the bugs

. It would take me two week to get all of them off.

We are leaving AZ. Fri. morning going to San Deigo, With our Corvette Club doing the Corevtte car shows Sat & Sun. Also doing the aircraft carrier Midway Sat. may see you Sunday if your doing the Big Corvette show on Sunday. The SSR is staying home this weekend.

can you give me more info? we are not aware of anything going on other than what we are doing wiyh the group from vegas and the corvette club in callifonia,and most of that is not clear. lack of info but willing to be surprised.

There's just not enough concrete info, schedules, links to flyers, or contacts to find out the 5 W's here to make a decision. Too many square miles to go chasing around looking....

There's a show in Coronado on Orange Ave on Sunday from 8-3. It's also Coco's from 11-2. C & C, pretty much explains itself.
D&D and mcV, feed me some info so maybe we can round-up the "usual suspects"...

So, just to throw a wrench into the plot, Margie and I are leaving Las Vegas the morning of the 17th to head to Edwards AFB for Saturday night, then on to the Wine Valley Inn at Solvang for the next two nights. Perhaps you can get from San Diego to Solvang and back to the Midway then back to Cars and Coffee in time to get a parking space.

Let me know if any body else is meeting up to go Sat. early. I am planning on going to the drags in the afternoon in Fontana, they are having a Super street event this weekend.

I am thinking I may do Coco's On Sunday. Definitely in for C&C on Saturday. I noticed that C&C is about the farthest south item on the SoCal Car Culture List. I guess they think of San Diego as Northern Mexico?
