Going to be in the L.A Area in May

Well our next USA vacation is coming up soon. We leave on the 30th of April. First stop in Custor's last Stand, then Denver for a couple quick stops, just over night, then off to Vegas, we should be there on the 3rd of May, and stay there for 3 days, then in to L.A on the 5th of May, and we'll be leaving on the 10th, then off to San Francisco for a couple days, then not sure which way home, may go up thru Oregon, or thru Reno ... we'll decide that after San Francisco. Anyway, we would love to meet up with everyone again in L.A, and maybe meet some SSR friends in Vegas. Just let us know what the scoop is, and we'll meet you there.

For BlueStreak .... YES WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY !!! wanna tag along???? for that matter ... anyone else wanna tag along ??

This vacation is more for Tracie's mom (Gwen) who is now 83, and has never seen Vegas, Southern California, Disney, all that stuff, so this is a GREAT trip for her !!!!

We hope to meet up with everyone again !!

I will be at a Conference in Costa Mesa May 6, 7, 8 but if you want me to join you on My 5 or 9 I will be happy to. Actually I can probably make it a half day on May 6 as well. Be glad to try and show you a bit of the place.

If you want to see some nice SSR'S, take a cruise on May 2nd south on the 15 then east on the 215 to Eastern exit,then turn right and go about 1 mile and on the left will be a whole lot of cars to include SSR'S. Ask for the Vegas Mob. You wont want to miss this gathering.

If I was not busy for the 6, 7, & 8 I would be there every day. Just ask anyone.

well it's official ... we have our Hotels and all booked, we'll be arriving in LA on the 6th of May and be leaving on the morning of the 10th. We'll be staying at the Park Vue Inn, we'd love to see everyone again, so just let us know when and where, and we'll be there. Also if anyone in Vegas would like to meet up, we'll be there the 3rd, to the morning of the 6th.
The 10th we head for San Francisco, then home.

It's going to be a great trip ...... the mother is more excited than we are !!!!

ok ... we are now in Cheyenne Wy tonight ... been fighting snow, rain WIND ... holy WIND ... been crazy!!! But mostly tailwind ! Seen 2 Slingshots on lots for sale, an 04 for $29,900 in Billings Mt and an 05 for $25,800 in Great Falls Mt .... kind of a mobile SSR lot!! LOL
We'll be in Denver for a few hours tomorrow, then off towards Vegas.

well it's good thing the Jeep has a good cruise setup, doesn't seem to gain anyspeed downhill, unless the fat foot is resting on it !!!
Mom is doing very good !!! she really enjoyed Custer's Last Stand today .... the stories now are more powerfull than before ... it's amazing the amount of markers (where soldiers died ) are spread out across a 5 mile valley .... WOW very surreal !! but very cool at the same time !!

We are very excited to see everyone when we hit Anaheim, we hope we can meet up with you and Mrs Yellowbear this time !!!
Gerry and Lloyd, we'll give ya a should when we land, as things progress, we should be in Anaheim noonish at the latest, so if something should be planned for anynight that we are there ... we are up for it !!! Saturday we more than likely will not be going to Disneyland, but will be spending the day there with BlueStreak , We were thinking about going to Long Beach to the Qween Mary for lunch, mom would love to see and be on that ship.

MAN IT'S COLD HERE ...... currently 34 degrees with windchill ..... 27 .. I'm going home where it's warmer !! LOL can't wait for the 80 that vegas is supposed to be getting !!!!

we had a grea day in Denver and area, stopped at the Budweiser Brewery in Fort Collins Co, did the FREE tour, what a great tour, did a little tasting, then a little shopping, then off to Walmart for a few forgotten items, then to White Fence Farms for the worlds best chicken and salads ... fell in love with the one in Chicago, had to try the one in Lakewood Co ... had to wait to get in, but did not disappoint LOVE THAT PLACE ... still full, and we were there at 2;30 lol
Then the drive on I-70 ... well the snowstorm really shows the retarded drivers out there !!!! it's amazing how fast people forget how to drive on snow !!! I'm still shaking my head, accidents all over, actually closed the I-70 at Georgetown for bit ..... then 30+ mile at 15mph .. wow !! So we only made it to Grand Junction, but it's all good !! We'll be in Vegas tomorrow anyway!!

well we arrived in Vegas to 81'F this afternoon, what a nice feeling after all that crappy weather we had getting here !!! So we're kickin back at the New York New York, gonna head down and get our 2 free drinks from check in, oh .. and we saw a real nice looking Aqua Blur just north of Vegas .. heading north, nice truck !!!

well after tuckering Mom out, we are just relaxing and getting ready for our trip to L.A tomorrow, after all the stuff to see here in Vegas ..... I think she's feeling a little overwhelmed !!! but is having a great time nontheless !!! she really loved the Tournament Of Kings last night, the Fountains of the Bellagio, the Eruptions of the Mirage, the wax museum, M&M world, The Shark Reef ...... and of course ... the shopping ... she says she is excited for Disneyland, so we'll see you guys tomorrow.

thanks Yellow Bear ... our dance card looks like this ...... tonight we're gonna go visit the park, tomorrow is some park time, but we are going to be meeting up with Gerry & Lloyd (lloger) at Mimi's Cafe (1400 S. HARBOR BL., ANAHEIM ) at 7pm, so if anyone else would like to come on down, that would be great, Saturday ... is kinda of a fly by the seat of our pants day, cruise down to long Beach for lunch on the Queen Mary, then who knows what after. Sunday we are spending the whole day in the park with BlueStreak, I'm sure ... more the merrier !!! Monday morning we head for San Francisco ..... got Alcatraz tickets booked for the night tour ... that should be good too !!!
