Thought I might go up to Morro Bay… Labor day weekend & say hello to Jgrden from Texas!!! … Jgrden & his wife have a booth at a Art show… Art In The Park Thought I might drive up on Saturday.. visit the art show… Meet the Texas folk... spend the night then head home on Sunday… anyone want to join me?

The wife and I are going to spend a couple of nites in Avila Beach - the 21st and 22nd. Will the Texas folks be up there that early?

Count us in. You plan the route and we will follow you. Do you have a hotel in mind? Will wine be involved? Will there be security?
I will talk the Wife into joining you guys, I can only go for one day so Pick one and I'll do my best to be there to see John and Mary. It will be nice to get a few folks from the Big Valley to show up, plus the SOCAL folks. This is a good reason for John and Mary to break their diets.

It is a possibility that I would be able to join you. A couple of things need to happen to enable me to make the trip after our jaunt to Durango but i may know more by the time we get to Durango so I'll see you there and we can talk about it. Sounds like a nice drive tho.

When I was looking for a place to stay... I decided to treat myself (It was a bargain I made with myself when I decided not to fly back for Woodward, I'd stay at a lovely hotel in Morro Bay... ) So I've got a room at ... Ascot Inn...a wee bit on the expensive side...
If everyone is serious about going... we can plan some stuff... Just let me know...

Jim and I are definitely planning on it. The Ascot Inn sounds great. Here are a couple of other options as well: La Bellasera Hotel And Suites - located about 20 miles north and inland. The Madonna Inn is about 12 miles south?.

about 30 miles north is cambria cambria pines inn is also nice lots of wineries on hwy 46(i think thats the hiway there) one even has all kinds of open wheel style race cars at it I think it is the EOS winery .If they have the romatic package it includes dinner and a bottle of wine with dinner also has a bar and music on the weekends
