Moving out to Palm Springs from Florida chapter

Hello Fanatics,

Looks like I'm making a move to Palm Springs next month from Orlando. I have had a great experience with the Florida chapter and looking forward to meeting the Pacific chapter.

Does anyone live in the Palm Springs area and if so are there any mechanics that know how to work on these amazing cars.

Looking forward to some great rides!!!

Rodney

I guess you have to define "in the area" since to those of us that have been in SoCal for a while it is likely to be a bigger area than for many others. Some consider Palm Springs to be a Suburb of LA, and San Bernadino is just a neighborhood in between
Welcome In advance. Let us know when you arrive. Looks like you will be in time for the Phoenix Tech Session!

Welcome to the family.
Post your VIN in the Build Sheet request thread and VIN registry for starters.

Then you might start a request thread in the SSR Parts for Sale/Wanted - Chevy SSR Forum and see what show up. You might also check with RSSRTOY or Byers since they are our parts suppliers here and have discounts available. GoodLuck

Just wanted to say hello and welcome to the desert of Southern California. My wife and I live 20 minutes east of Palm Springs and love it here. I keep my SSR at our place in Orange County so I can't help with a source for service but I can tell you that you made a good decision and we hope you are as happy here as we are. You are going to have to learn to live without the humidity but you will in a short time! Good luck! Bob
