So I really bought both of them! I flew in from New Mexico on a friday and had a cab and the owner of the yellow one meet me at the bank, drove it and paid him. Went to my dads to pick up my son and they took a ride. This was at 4 pm. saturday morning community garage sale and mom and dad got there around 7. By 9 mom drove it and they bought it. last Thursday night saw the blue one and of course had to have it, 8 pm sent the deposit by 1 am on a flight to KC, got on the road Friday at 10:30 am and home Saturday by noon. We may see you Saturday at Cars and Coffee with both cars.

So, we have missed the group but the traveling keeps me away right now. The Blue vette is a Mallett conversion, its the LS1 but 475 hp. Check out Mallett 396. See you soon!

Dont be a hater!!! Im still a fan, just dont like waiting 6 months for parts, reparirs dont matter its the down time. If I wreck the Vette, I gould get a new body, frame, interior whatever complete or they will total it right away and I can be back on the road...............
Besides, if I get another R in the future (when there are replacement parts and I dont have to hoard them at my house) dont worry, it will be something custom or I will make it custom for those reasons............
Congrats on the purchases, wow a yellow and blue. Will be in Calif
this weekend so will miss you guys, sure miss seeing you and Paula.
See you I hope at another C&C. The best colors and great cars and
still GM remember SSr are just a Vette with a big trunk. See you
soon
Your luck with the blue R reminds me of a truck I bought new in 1990. It was a customized 89 Blue ford pickup. In 89 they didnt make a stepside, but this one was, it had a wood bed, visor, air dam and lovers on back window. It was a sharp looking truck. I had it 3 years and had to have it painted 3 times. Right after I bought it the paint started to fall off. It took ford 6 months to finally agree to repaint the truck, I finally had to go in the showroom and start screaming to get them to fix it. Well it seemed like every time I turned around somthing would happen and it would get messed up. I finally decieded it wasnt meant to be and sold the truck. Good luck with your new rides, if I was you I would leave the blue one alone and drive the yellow one cause blue just seems to cause trouble. Yellow rules! FORDS SUCK!
