So who is coming with us? Looks as though the front of this old historic building will be roped off so we can line up our SSR's for a great photo shoot!
Our local California website: antioch calif
(Sorry you cant SEE the actual URL link text to write it down but forum won't let me UNCHECK that demanding option this time)

Steve, can't wait until our next get together with all our SSR friends! it should be another fun day in our SSR's and another great lunch.
Three weeks and counting!
Just added Carlos and Randy. Randy is one of our first SSR-CLUB members from 2004. We drove over to Benicia, ca to meet him for a milk-shake and later Randy has joined us several times in the Brentwood (North. Cal) Christmas parades.
Looks like a GREAT SSR Rodrun/Lunch coming up this Sunday........
We have a fun group here.

Hi, maybe we will see you at the next R function in July. It appears that tomorrow morning will be about 80 degrees for the river portion of the run. Great top down weather! Look forward to seeing the bay area R's as we meet in Rio Vista to head for our destination for lunch. C-ya then!
I worked in Stockton just off Hwy 99 at Waterloo Rd. from 1988 until I retired in 2006 and moved to Oregon, ate at the Waterloo Inn a few times during those years, it is quite an interesting old historic building and the food is excellent, wish I could be there, have fun.
We will miss our SSR friends that won't be joining us in the morning but will enjoy the SSR'ers that can make it there. Pictures to follow when we get back home. Lets plan for our next outings.........
Auburn, Placerville (Hang Town), George Town......

What a great time today as we had a beautiful drive on the river road to Rio Vista to meet the the bay area R's. Now I know why you like to come to Sacramento!: The rod run from Rio Vista to The Waterloo was just too cool. Nothing better than being in a group of SSR's heading down the road. Thanks to Larry for putting together the event. Outstanding lunch and meeting old as well as new friends...That line of R's at the restaurant always gets everyones attention...Looking forward to the next gathering in the near future.
Some Picrures of our SSR fun day!! We thank all of our SSR group for a fun day in the sun. Planning July (Martinez BBQ), August (Tracy Drive-In) & September (Auburn 2day) already...
We were disapointed in the Rio Vista Abel Chevrolet dealership personel where we gathered our seven SSR's for about 30min. before heading out for Stockton. No one at Abel came over to say HI to any of us nor seemed to even know we were there although they walked passed us several times going about their business. As Chevy owners (including Past & Present Corvette owners) a person would think we would have simular common interests about possible future sales and customer relations. We sometime include in our SSR Rodruns a drive through or pit-stop at our local Chevy dealerships near our rodrun routes. Most have been very nice and offered us cold drinks and great conversations about Chevrolets, performance and such................... I feel it's the dealerships loss not ours as we are going to have fun with or without their recognition but the dealerships can gain public relations just by our massive SSR presence, future new & used car sales and much more all for little or no money out put at all.
