Where and when are you guys meeting up? Maybe we can join in.

On second thought, that would be quite a bit out of our way...never mind.

after you pass Hell's Kitchen and leave the Nat'l Forest and head downhill, look for SpiderAlaMode taking pictures on the right hand side of the road. He has a web site.

The godma approved to stay in a hotel in Escondido for Saturday night so we can enjoy the
day after a stressful week at the shop.

WOW.....just returned from our "fun-filled" day with our Fanatic friends. Vix.........thanks so much for organizing a fabulous event and for the special apple goody bag. You planned some great stops and I really liked "trading" co-pilots and getting to ride and talk to other fanatics.

At the Hotel

Hatterheads, Shawkers and SSJeff are checking in at the Best Western in Escondido. Let the after party begin.

Thanks Vix and Fred (but I'm sure mostly Vix) for a fun event. Great see all our friends.

Fun Day

Great turn out... great day! Thanks to everyone who came and made the day so fun!

Before we left the winery, I collected everyone's keys and had co-pilots draw keys to ride up to Julian. I think we learned a little about one another... and I thank my driver, Sandy (TroyToy) for a really nice talk.

I can only marvel at the skill and talents of VIX for arranging all the events for the day and getting the beautiful weather to go with it. We even had a huge crowd in Julian to welcome us. I was just sorry I had to duck out early to work that BJ gig. Thanks VIX it was a blast.

We are home safe and sound and back to reality. Much thanks and applause to Vix and Fred for a well planned fun filled day. Swithing co-pilots was a fun idea and now I know all Freds secrets. The after party gang was feeling no pain by the time the evening ended. Hugs to all, great to see everyone again. Thanks a million

Thanks to Vix and Fred for a great run. Always good to see the gang. The after party at Stone Brewery was great. And thanks to Shawker for letting us invade your room for the after after party with Hatterheads. We met up with Vix and Fred for a really great breakfast this morning at the Beach Break Cafe in Oceanside. I guess we didn't want the party to end. If not sooner we will see you all in Laughlin! (and yes, Cathy did type this)

Vix, Thanks for planning a great event. We really enjoyed the day. We bought some wine and were going to save it but last night we got home and decided to open it up. Great choice! You did a wonderful job with the timing and directions and it was good to spend quality time with our So Cal SSR Nuts!

Looking forward to the next time.

Vix and Fred

Thank you for hosting a nice weekend for a bunch of So. Cal Nuts. Well as fate will have a dark cloud continued for the trip to The Brewery. I was behind Troy Toy (Sandy and Millie) and the SSR were all on the left lane to turn. But the lane was over filled. So my co-pilot (The Boss) said turn right and we can make an u turn and fellow them. Well after about 3 miles we were able to turn around. Everybody was long gone and the @#$%# GPS as everybody know still had the screen No Maps Showing on the TomTom. We had a grand tour of the parking lot and said we were only 1 mile from our destination. It told a fib. We took a tour of the Train Station and around the blocks a few times. So the boss said let's go to the Hotel. HTC phone got us to the Hotel with no problems.

Again thank you Vix for plaining a nice day. Hope Millie and Sandy enjoyed the Julian Pie and Special Ice Cream. We found that after 24 years since Elaine left Julian. Some land marks had changed and we had an extra run of where-are-we-now..? The turn to Escondido changed the Hardware store became a AMPM...! Hope Sandy and Millie enjoyed the extra long ride to the Olive Garden. Troy Toy got an extra warm welcome from your SSR family

We need to get together in December 03, 2011 for Disneyland. What do you think...? I bet BlueStreak, SSRJeff, ICBlue, Auto Dan, Mrs. Hatterhead and who else want to get together for a fun filled weekend.

Roberto' No the Boss didn't write this long post. I just stopped working

Sounds like fun, I work that day but I can certainly join everyone that evening. The Anabella hotel was pretty nice, maybe we could all stay there. Sort of a mini Disney Day.

Thumbs up TomTom Report

After many many hours on phone TomTom decided to kill my GPS XXL550. Unable to correct lock up problem and wrong directions. What happen is the moon and sun cause a discomblumeration of the tweter rod cause by the muffler bearing working counter clock wise. In short the compter devil came in while i was transfering data and put it in another GPS format. Well anywhay returned unit and will think if we use phone or get another GPS so The Boss can see it better.

So Troy Toy (Sandy and Millie) it wasn't me it was the #$% #%^&@ electronic gismo.
